Gold plated the PHR billet top water neck which will hopefully clear the frame of the turbo now. I have yet again changed the cam pulley cover design as something was just not right and was bugging the hell out of me. I think it was the fact it was too much gold in 1 area on the engine, smack bang on top too. soooo, i got some 2mm aluminium and made a sheild/plaque to go on the top, this ill have engraved with scroll work and then chromed. Ill simply just rivet it on once finished and i think this will be the look im after. Get rid of any motif too as i quickly out grew that idea and looked cheap Also just mocking the top rad hose up, will 110% be getting shorter black rubber joiners

Lol built auto still rocks in my opinion. 6speed will always hold a greater value once complete and I want to try and build a decent supra the way I want. No fancy body kits or in your face paint. Just stock looking wide body with the power and looks under the bonnet to blow minds

It was a lucky find and so happy I got it. Just keeps things fresh. It's never going to be a new car but replacing parts and refreshing stuff always makes a huge difference.

I'll be doing the wax oil treatment when mine is complete. People neglect the underneaths a lot when most rot can be prevented a little. Looks great and glad your keeping her

After either of the boxes. Been let down on the one I was going to get. I know they are becoming hard to find but even if this gets me tagged in things elsewhere at least people know I'm looking and on the hunt. Cheers guys, what you got??

Got all the inner parts painted on the carbon doors. The underneath of the bonnet and the full carbon tailgate got painted underneath too. managed to source a virtually brand new rear bumper crash bar for the build off james (TURTLESHEAD) looks perfect and miles better than the old rusty chopped up one which came off. such a difficult colour to capture as one min its anthracite and the next its a stunning copper

I bought the faulty cover off Kaan as I wasn't bothered about running a pulley cover but now I just thinks it's the safer option.

If OCD worx didn't screw up the middle cover then a clear cover would have worked but something needed to be fabricated to protect the belt and pulleys. Simples

Well this is take 2 on the pulley cover. first attempt i sandblasted it into the metal, looked good but the 'R' was missing its middle and my OCD took over. Today i polished it all back and re-thought my idea... literally just gold plated over the sticker and peeled off to leave the stainless steel, looks much better. any last words?......... pretty much aimed at the haters on social media who chat nonsense and comment rubbish Also got the engine bay painted the other day. TOYOTA 1A1 is my colour of choice.. always had a soft spot for it and looks great.

Few sneek pics from stevo who has done a great job on the carbon steering wheel for me and matched the tan leather im using for my build. hard to capture the tan in a photo. I made a start on fabricating a 3mm stainless steel cam pulley cover. been very tricky to get right but started to take shape. not finished yet but ill post some pics when its all done. Got some cool ideas for it though

How has this not sold... Cost the asking price in labour to even build one up lol
