My Mk2 micra would flood the enigne if having been moved from cold only a short distance and then tried to be restarted a short while afterwards. The trick is to pull the fuel pump fuse in the fuse box nearest the drivers door this stops the pump dumping more fuel in and the flooding, once started after a bit of cranking pop the fuse back in and hey presto. Common problem, but the fix works every time. HTH Rich
