  1. Ian, what a fantastic post. Well done. Rich
  2. Toyota fourlife or any ethyleneglycol based coolant/antifreeze. HTH Rich
  3. Scob I have the exact same gauge fitted in the clock hole and its fits perfect, everything you need is included in the box. HTH Rich
  4. Are they gonna call it a SUPRA?
  5. Fifty I have driven up to see Chris on a couple of occassions now from right on the Sussex coast. Last time I went he was able to carry out all the work I requested well within the day. Top bloke. Rich
  6. Scoot, I would assume that the coolant deteriorates with time/usage?
  7. I admire your hard work, but is it going to piss down tomorrow? I hope not. Rich
  8. Scoot, as far as I am aware the fourlife does contain corrosion inhibiters as with most modern coolants, if your coolant (fourlife) is past its best I have heard it turns a brown colour. I would imagine that flushing/changing the coolant is also good practice and keeps things fresh. HTH Rich
  9. LOL, Chris I love your analagy(sp) of 'strong woman', I thought of Wonder woman. Apologies for being off topic.
  10. Ian, I have exactly the same brake spec as you and have been very pleased with the performance. Although not braking from the mega speeds you mention I too have performed a couple of brake tests in the dry running F1's from about 60ish and have managed to activate the ABS. HTH Rich
  11. Iceman, I have had this too. I don't think it sounds bad enough like "deathwhine" but would be interested to know what it is. Rich
  12. 50 Try Autoglym vinyl and rubber care. This product has the orange square on it and is in a squirty applicator which I find is very effective when squirted onto an old lint free sock placed over your hand. HTH Rich
  13. This is the funniest thread I've read in ages. Rich
  14. Thanks for the feedback guys. Rich
  15. For the record if doing a track day with car in manual mode can you select 4th gear on a long straight? Or are you only able to select first 3 gears whilst locked in manu mode? Ta Rich
  16. I bought a cheap one from argus HTH Rich
  17. Anyone know the cheapest place for the neccessary boss? These always tend to bump the price up a bit. Ta Rich
  18. Guys Does this mean that you can't select 4th whilst in Manu mode then? Ta Rich
  19. Ian, if you do not reset the ECU will it relearn anyway? Ta Rich

Sorry for slight hi-jack but I was out testing tonight and although I was in Drive (3rd) and MANU, the car appread to still kick down - cant remember if I had o/d on or off though (if that makes a difference?) Thoughts anyone? Ta Rich
  21. If that is a o/e cap should it not have a plastic bit that is in the centre? I have an aftermarket CW cap who told me that the stock caps can loose this centre bit in the rad with age. HTH Rich
  22. Hi guys Can anyone recommend a good dry weather tyre along the same costs of Gdyr F1's. Standard 17" wheels. Ta Rich
  23. I thought the same as you.........doh! Rich
