  1. Very true - unfortunately.
  2. These days its seems like there is always some kind of incident whenever you drive somewhere
  3. Mine seems to have a mind of its own ATM, sometimes comes down at 60 sometimes not, any ideas? Many thanks Rich
  4. Its fantastic, I thoroughly recommend it. I go every year but then its only down the road.
  5. You won't regret it, I have one sitting right next to me, the 5th edtion has a nice pic of a Dodge Viper (SRT 10) V10 engine on it. Mine was about £17.00, that was through the college though.
  6. Yes, it is indeed the bible, I am studying a 2 year National Diploma in Vehicle repair and Technology (after giving up my previous career) and its our course book. We use the 5th edition which is the latest. Book two, for electrics is due any day. Good reading.
  7. Trust Reputation Honesty Location Ablilty to watch work being carried out
  8. I'm in tonight aswell as working all weekend, got a stinker of a cold at the mo too.
  9. Thanks for your help Term, I will try the yelllow billies first, as I can't afford the drop that the Eibachs seem to give as my front wheels are 30mm offset and 8.5" wide they may well foul the wheel arch. What I need to find out first is if the standard JDM springs are the same as standard UK springs - anyone? (Thanks for your offer BTW) Ta Rich
  10. Term Do you think I am going the wrong way about sorting the UK handling by combining the billies with the UK springs? JDM springs with my standard OE UK shocks is a better bet? Ta Rich
  11. Thanks for the feedback fellas. I don't really want to drop the car. Just stiffen it up a bit, as the OE shocks are 80k old I thought I might try the yellow billies with my OE springs. Did the UK cars come with the option of yellow billies? If so I wonder if they would have used the same springs anyway? Ta Rich
  12. Anyone used this combo before? Results? Many thanks Rich

    Kwik Fit

Kwik fit stores do seem to get tarred with the same brush. I work there part time whilst studying a vehicle technicians course at college and I have also witnessed the horror stories! At the end of the day the work is only as good as the person who is working on your car - lucky dip. Rich
  14. Yes it was Halfrauds, only cost a tenner, Draper one if my memory serves me right. Had it about three years now.
  15. Mine is always fully charged as I use a trickle charger. See what you mean though as if left for a long time with the alarm on it will eventually result in a flat battery.
  16. Don't have a spare unfortunately. Some braided brake hoses would look nice under there though.
  17. Looks like the UJ part of the lower arm (wishbone) area.
  18. Oh if you can clout it with a hammer this may free it off to get the car started. HTH Rich
  19. Most probably a sticky solenoid chum. This happened to my car also a while back.
  20. Two people I know have had big wins here in the sunny south, one won 600k the other 2.3mil. Best I have ever done is £75.
  21. Lovely looking Supra just the way it is.
