  1. Adam, this has been covered just recently on another thread. Basically most people have seen the light and are tending to bin the cone type filters for the stock air box, which results in better filtration and sucks in cooler air. HTH Rich
  2. Stock or K&N/TRD replacement panel filter.

    Best Tyres?

Dunno about Jag & Aston but I'm sure that TVR now fit F1's.
  4. Max GT must be nearer? HTH
  5. Sounds good - i'd be interested depending on the result of the offset situ.
  6. They are on another thread in the Whifbitz section, but from memory I think they are around 12kgs each, which I am told compare to stock 17" weights. I am just waiting for Paul to confirm if these wheels will fit over UK brakes in 50mm offset front/rear. HTH
  7. No defo college, I gave up my career of 14 years in account management to study for two years doing a BTEC NAT DIP in vehicle repair and technology. All being well I should qualify in June 06. Got sick of working in office conditions with office type people just shuffling paper and staring at a screen:violin: FREE AT LAST! Rich
  8. Road was semi wet with that kind of dampness you get when its very cold etc. Has'nt rained here for ages - still got bloody hosepipe ban!!!!
  9. Coming back from college today I saw a silver j-spec embedded into the central reservation on the A27 westbound coming out of north Durrington in West Sussex. Looks like a Fiat Uno was involed aswell. Anyone here?
  10. Made me feel sad - RIP Richard.
  11. No I don't think so. You need a TRd one if you want to retain the airbag feature.
  12. Went to this today, was my first trackday. Got a passenger ride in my mates Caterham 7 based kitcar and a Focus RS, really good fun. Many thanks to Andy at Sussex Performance Centre (Horsham) for organising this event.
  13. I drive a 93 Nissan Micra as a second car, cheap as chips to run, tax and insure. Reliable little car, you just look like a granny driving one.
  14. Exactly, I had a Chevy Chevelle come into work yesterday for tyres. This thing had a big block 7.5L V8 sounded awesome expecially when he put line lock on the fronts and burnt our his old rears before we put his new Mastercrafts on:woot:
  15. Damn things are going off as I type, its like living in Beruit!
  16. Could be your pressure relief valve if its being held on full lock.
  17. Depends whereabouts on the tyre it is punctured, if its across the 3/4 width of the tread then you are generally OK, dependant on overall width of tyre. If its on or near the sidewall its classed as a major repair and is prbably not worth it. Alternatively could be a valve leak or bead leak. Your local KW should charge around £18 for the repair which would include new valve and balance, however slip the guy a tenner cash and everyones a winner;) HTH Rich
