  1. I seem to be doing exactly the same thing sat here with another can of Stella, I always find the first one does'nt touch the sides.
  2. Coming soon apparantly, according to pistonheads. 102 at 30 outlets already & V-power (99) on its way. Dunno how much they are gonna sting us for though:rolleyes:
  3. I think so, +/- 1 from memory. HTH Rich
  4. With my car coming up for 12yrs old and hopefully making it out onto a track day in the not too distant future I was thinking of uprating the cooling system(rad, oil coolers etc). Just wondered if anyone else had been down this route and if it is possible to fit a fluidline (sp) in place of the oe rad as a direct bolt on replacement? Many thanks Rich
  5. If you have lowered it too much that won't help either.
  6. I wear purevision from Boots, monthly disposables that I can sleep in every night. They are great. Would recommend. £60 for three months, but I usually get about 4-5 months out of them. HTH
  7. I don't think this fella is knowingly talking bull. I have just spent two years doing a full time OND in vehicle repair and technology with a view to completing a level 4 HND in automotive engineering. Then finishing this off with the final year of the automotive engineering degree at Kingston uni, which is meant to be one of the best engineering unis in the country. You can probably get on the degree course via other qualifciations but your maths/science has to be good. Just my 2p.
  8. As title cos mines gone flat:( (forgot to put on trickle charge) Ta Rich
  9. Any hints and tips, as I will be going soon. Ta Rich
  10. Yup I used to have one when I was 13. Had a few over the years, Hot shot, RC10, Subaru Brat. Others were the Hornet, Wild one, Wild Willy Jeep, Baja Bug etc. I have still got a Lancia Delta from when I owed a real Lancia Delta. I think they are doing a few retro ones again.
  11. Looks like the "Evil fucker fly" to me!
  12. Today I took the wheels off my car to give them a thorough clean and polish, so I thought I would use this opportunity and weigh them on the bathroom scales. Cripes, 23.8kg for the fronts and 24.5kg for the rears. (Wheels and tyres together). Thats nearly 100kg, I guess alot more than stock adding to the unsprung weight. Wheels are Azev M in 18" - 8.5 front and 10" rears with F1's allround. I had some old 18" tyres kicking about and weighed these at 10kg each so the wheels themselves are around 14kg each. Does anybody including traders know of any LIGHTWEIGHT 18's with a flat five spoke design (deep dish) in as near to stock offset as possible with correctly sized hubs, ie no hub centric rings etc or spacers which will clear UK brakes? Any ideas? Many thanks Rich
  13. Anyone know if the compressors are a serviceable item? Ta
  14. Cheers Ewen, but £90 or I'll just keep it for something else. regards Rich
  15. Know what you mean Hanky. I have been in Cornwall for most of the week on holiday and spent yesterday at the Festival of Speed, so this is my first chance to catch up.
