Quite a few members are running UK speedos in jspecs, it's simply plug and play and elimates the need for a converter. I would say the issue is somewhere else or you have a faulty speedo. -

Potentially interested. What makes the Greddy ones superior? Currently using an HKS with no problems as far as I can tell.

Are you 100% sure you've connected all the Grounds up at the earthing points in the kick panels? Looking at the wiring diagrams for the mirrors and arial suggests you haven't. Can you remove the plug from the antenna control relay and do a continuity test between terminal 6 Black/white to Ground? Unplug the mirror switch and check continuity between terminal 2 Black/white to ground. -

The easiest way is to just remove the old convertor and see if it works correctly and reads in KPH. No point buying another one until you know its faulty.
