  2. If thats the case according to my calculations we'll be arriving at Goodwood around 2pm edit. to slow
  3. I have a file of the proposed route for anyone who would like to put the route on there Garmin sat nav. I also have a file for those with a Tomtom but there is an issue with Tomtom one 3 and 4 edition, any of the others should be fine. If you have a Tomtom one there is a work around but you do so at your own risk as it involves unlocking some secret menus. You'll need to PM me your email address and make of sat nav and I'll send you the file and a small guide on how to install it.
  4. I doubt they could find his address.
  5. Toyota really made sure these wouldn't come loose. I had to heat mine up with a hairdryer to soften the thread lock. If you removed the damaged rubbers could you attack the screw heads with a pair of grips?
  6. Ok bud. Me and budz will becoming along the 272 I'll keep an eye out for you. Pm me your mobile and i'll call you when we're approaching Cowfold.
  7. Hi I have created a custom route for my Garmin sat nav using Google Earth and imported it sussefully using the EarthNC Trip and Route Tool. I have also saved a copy of the KML.gpx file it generated on my desktop. What I would like to know is, is it possible to use this file on a Tomtom or does it have to be converted to an OV2 file or any other file type. Thanks
  8. We drove to the end of Madeira Drive last year, theres lots of space down there for photos etc.
  9. Just to add can anyone suggest a good finishing point in Southhampton? What are you like?
  10. Not 100% sure yet what time do they leave Dorking? Last year I left an hour before they set off and it worked out perfect. Edit. Looks like there leaving at 11.30 so will need to leave Heathfield at 11
  11. Imo the realflight would be a good choice. It comes with a usb transmitter plug it in and off you go. Most of the others come with adaptors to plugin your existing transmitter. You can download a demo of it from there website and try it out using the keyboard on you pc. I know what you mean theses things do you head in when your first starting out. So much time goes in to building and setting them up. The link I posted above will help you with every step.
  12. Hi Dan Personally I would go with the Align Trex 450. You can't beat them for the money and most importantly the spares are easily available. I would always recommend buying a decent flight simulator before forking out your hard earned money on a model. You can then practice and crash as much as you like for free:) Secondly get on the BMFA website and join a club near you that can offer advice, training. I use this website as an invaluable source of information. Heli skills and setup 101 Edit. As for a transmitter. I have always been a fan of Futaba but have now sold all my Futaba transmitters and moved all my models over to Spektrum/JR. The DX7 is great value for money and much more user friendly and great for helis As for servos I would consider Hi tech HS65MG's very smooth, strong. Metal gears are a must, you'll strip plastic gears even with a small crash. The Futaba 401 Gyro is perfect for a 450 Hope this helps
  13. I'm planning to meet the South Coast convoy at the A272 crossroads. Are there any members going from Eastbourne/ Hastings area who fancy meeting up at Heathfield and going up together?
  14. I have the single box with both cats in. It's louder than stock but not to loud. To put it another way it's quieter than I expected but just right for me. The twin box must be pretty quiet which maybe better if your planning to remove the cats.
  15. It was a bit busy in the first corner. Worth a watch.
  16. Did anyone see the moto 2 race? 41 riders!!
  17. and I could be persuaded to buy the fronts:)
