  1. Ahhh the doctors in the house! Just tried phoning you dude, turns out all gears are fine. Still pulls like a 2JZ GE with a big silver snail bolted to the side... no play in the gears& stage 4 clutch still works perfectly fine! Not the same nasty noise we had when you stripped 3rd up at Lincoln. Or the slight bang we heard in the pits a mile away lol! if mine had gone going from 30-20mph to 2nd it would have been a bit pathetic& I'd be cursing the w58 to hell. But all that seems wrong is gear selection& really have to throw it in. Which tells my the bushers from april 95 gave up on clinging to life.& the noise I was hearing would have been rubbish gear selection. Kinda like when you don't get it in gear properly(false gear). So: Box fine Bushers not fine
  2. Yeah sounds like a good call! Will give it a quick test drive in a bit. Now iv had chance to calm myself I should be all good for some Det's & Rem's. As it wasn't anywhere near as spectacular as the last w58 I heard stripping its gears, fingers crossed its bushers. If not, Ahhh well time to upgrade
  3. Yeah read those solid bushers are pretty good. About the only place that isn't after market bushed is the shifter & diff lol! But yeah got a funny feeling that the ft/lb has had some fun with the old NA gearbox am pretty sure but was just after a more experienced opinion. Lol! Unfortunately don't have the time at work to rip apart the gearbox &diagnose. So was hoping someone would tell me I'm wrong before I replace it
  4. Today rolling up to lights on my way home from work I was slowing down from 30mph & put the car into 2nd. It didn't quite go in& felt like I had select a false gear followed by a grinding noise... I pulled off from the lights& 1st,2nd& 3rd felt fine at first. When I got home I found the car was making like a clunking sort of grinding noise as I slowed down... Unhappy I took it for a test drive& found driving it with a strong bit of right foot it selected gears perfectly fine and accelerated as good as usual. However on they way back home again I found selecting the low gears a B@*%# again! & the clunky noise again when using the gears to slow down. As in using the engine weight not slamming it down gears like an upset teenager. Is this the shifter bushers? Or has my w58 finaly had enough of me even if I drive like miss daisy 99% of the time?! Any help greatly appreciated! Thanks
  5. Boost+ aquaplaning= not good &Ash you are a cruel cruel man! I just had q[-_-]p who just giggled with excitement lol!
  6. Really nice! Sat nav looks like it was supposed to be there!
  7. Really helped having somebody sat along side in the passengers seat for me. Can quickly work out what works for you saves stopping starting& forgetting where you are. Can play with the gain & 1-100 boost settings to find what best suits Think manual recommends gain 20 for 2JZGTE?
  8. Ha ha you should play the lottery! Completely agree but apparently speed cameras might not catch your plate...so it made me wonder, who wrote the legislation for plates on bikes!? Lol
  9. Yep! But I'm sure the police wouldn't agree?!
  10. Unfortunately not as nice as yours lui! Only 199 silver but she's constantly a work in progress
  11. Love that car! Also got my plate mounted there, used to be on the splitter until the fuzz pulled me for it. Could side mount it... But don't want it in the way of the spot lamps I guess By the way where do you get those spot lamps? Halfrauds jobby?Look awesome!
  12. He he yeah I think he let me get in front Was a little worried when I read pressure plate! Lol! But I bet that was nice for a change, sun in sennybridge! Lol! But to me iv looked at it more like "the moral draining cattle-grid" lol! Anyways back on subject lol, it's nice to finally be spotted& put in the "was it you" section
  13. +1? Or 177 if you not a fan of volleying rounds? FX T12(typhoon) will kill rabbits& pheasants at 50 metres with a good head shot.& stupidly quiet with suppressor.
  14. Try Nos? He fitted a lightweight during his NA-T build... Worth an ask
  15. Was me dude! On route back to Hereford after poping down Dr_Jekyll's (Cardiff) with q[-_-]p .was helping with the project black dog build that turned into stripping out another NA-T ha ha! Sorry I didn't see the crazy wave was, erm? Playing with the scooby I bet somehow sennybridge was still sideways raining?! Lol! Or was it IBS,160 Brig?
  16. Sounds like Chris's lovely car.... BGW, trial rear, blended kit? All custom stuff, done by the man himself. Like the modded veilside side skirts& blended wide arches. Stunning car! slight difference, but can see the similarities above pics look similar Try: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/vbpicgallery.php?do=view&g=2637

    Hello

    hello & welcome!
  18. Was tracking up my car this weekend just gone. And noticed the near side front lower wishbone/suspension arm ball joint rubber had split. Ball joint is perfectly fine& still doing its job, but obviously now a split rubber is an MOT fail. Also want to get it covered up before anything other then grease gets in there. So does anybody have any ideas on the diameter of: Top hole mm? Bottom hole mm? Uncompressed height mm? Or have a wishbone laying about they could get the measurements from? It would save me taking things apart just to measure& put back together until the right size dust covers arrive. Any help greatly appreciated!
  19. Christ! That's cheap! £50?! Tell the truth, what old lady did you mug? By the way sorry didn't pop down beginning of the week. Ended up working! Yay!
  20. laser guided equipment& now hover technology on a supra?! hardly a budget build
  21. Ha ha haven't seen this in ages! Japanese word for insane is hilarious
  22. Bearing in mind the green may look slightly different as we're lacking in deserts in the UK ha ha! I love this build! Looks so nice& visually aside from lowering slightly(dependant on local speed bumps) it looks pretty damn close! Loving it And know what you mean with the police. Was stopped a week or 2 ago due to the Boardom bug& told my number plate wasn't legal despite quoting government legislation. And passed the 7 day performer and went straight to bill through the post... Now changed to save hassle.but next time my keys are getting launched& I'll walk home! Teddy well& truely out the pram! Ha ha! Might be worth printing the guidelines off as stated above& keeping in glove box though dude???
