Oh wow...things have really gone wrong since I've been away. Who and why would you do this to a supra?! Have the supras really depreciated that much that kfc car park loitering Lupo drivers can now afford them?! I'm now in an R34 but at that point where even this is struggling to quench the 2jz thirst. The mkiv was and is one of the best handling cars I have ever driven... Yeah I spent the money on coilovers, strut braces, superpro bushers(which some may not agree with), corner weighting, geo align's, etc, etc... The list goes on... But even before all that the car could and would handle because it was developed and designed to! Tracking the car I can understand, drifting a supra I can come to terms with.... But ruining the handling and destroying an iconic classic super car to make it look like a hot wheels/maxpower/lupo mix match!? Other than street cred for aesthetic reasons at the bus stop or McDonald's, seriously what is the point? You will find ditches/hedges better? The tyres will wear abnormally and cause a great amount of pain when stopped by an officer of the law. Costing you a small fortune in tyres, Points, fines etc. And handling is something that will go from brilliant super car to navigating an ice rink on stilts... Looking for exceptance for destroying such an iconic car on a forum full of people who love an idolize this perfection of Japanese engineering, probably isn't going to happen. These gentlemen have a good understanding of these vehicles. And Chris Wilson's advise really shouldn't be overlooked, this man has a great knowledge of vehicles and doesn't just give out technical advise for his own benefit. I hope you carry out at least a little bit more research/ investigation before you become a hazard to yourself, your passengers and other road users.

Feel sorry for anybody driving these roads! I was on them today and got massively cut up by a 1.2 vw. Just narrowly avoided an accident! seems to be a lot of faulty indicator stalks too?! Gutted for you! At least as said, nobody hurt and your looking at the bright side every cloud!

Just to put this out there. A well maintained vehicle will better keep its ponnies. Had mine on the dyno as NA before the NA-T in 2010 and was showing 222bhp at the flywheel. And if I remember correctly Martin and Neil-NA had better than this with mods. I usually get this sorta comment from people after just doing an oil change on their car. &the oil taken out could of been used as filler Followed by that's a nice car, what does it do mpg?........... Not saying your one of these just that, a better maintained engine will far out perform a lesser cared for one& reduce the amount of lost ponnies

Yep pretty pants really! Hate the sneaky over payed pompous I'm gone shout and stamp my feet at you in a building called the House of Commons like a bunch of 7 year olds told they can't have ice cream! But yeah good right up. But this tyre legislation has been in the pipeline since beginning of last year verywell aimed shot to the foot! Wonder how many self employed part worn tyre garages this will affect? It's pointless to be fair... As the general publics opinion... Or 99% of people who go to buy tyres aren't gona spend anymore just because its slightly better on fuel& may save them £30 a year!? And to honestly people don't like spending money on brakes or general maintenance!? So they don't care about wet grip stopping distance! 9/10 it's budgets... And this isn't a generalisation but an observation from where I work!? It annoys me that car enthusiasts like ourselves who go out intentionally looking for grip for better response, braking and all around handling end up getting penalised for it. So yeah the R888 toyo's might only just be road legal, but I could bet that they're 100 times better than the dodgy jinyus, sunnys& klebers etc! Bah! Just like the fuel price rise investigation! Someone's benefitting from it and getting dirty back hand bribes. Thinking of number 1, themselves. Rant over.

First thing I'd do, is remove that engine under tray. Try to find roughly where that leak is. Clean the area to see if it leaks again. To be sure you had the right area/seal/gasket. It looks like it could be the rear crankshaft seal to me, but it could just be oil sitting on the undertray finding its way to the floor at the back of the under tray.

Slam in a search bud, it's been covered a couple of times. Should be easy enough to find

Could go TT TB and plenum? Would look a lot tidier& would avoid heat soak on the ic piping... But these have been tested on the NA-T forum& lose a little performance compared with stock NA TB and plenum... *awaits abuse& death threats*

Yeah that.... It's a nightmare if you don't have the fabricated shifter extension! No rubber shifter surround= stupidly loud!

Could be possible. All depends really if you'll have enough room at the front of the transmission tunnel. There's only about 2 inches at the top/back of the engine. You would more than likely have to remove the lower part of the sump from underneath first, otherwise it may catch the subframe. As well as most of the usual, rad, power steering etc. It wouldn't hurt to get underneath and have a look around see if it's do able... Just a weather worry living in sunny Britain. Thought about maybe renting a garage for a month?

As above: oil cooler needs pressure to get the oil through. Possible chance of oil filling up the return line to the turbo and doing damage to the turbo& bearings. And metal filings won't help the engine& possibly block oil feed to the tubby etc. Really should see if you can use a friends garage or something to get that engine out or subframe off? Safest bet.
