I’m willing to bet that the original holes are still left under the spat. That’s not the original location for the reflector.

I prefer the carbing strut brace as it has a built in BMC brace which definitely helps with brake pedal feel.

Unless they start reproducing the MKIV, expect values to gradually keep climbing. Don’t think it’s unreasonable to think a NA might fetch 15k comfortably in the next few years. -
I’m sure I have one of these kicking about somewhere but it’s facelift from memory, just TRD speedo not the TRD Tach and instrument panels.

Quick update, recently witnessed a TT6 rolling shell sell for £6k which I was surprised by, but great to see if you have a shell, I’ve struggled to see any decent stock shells sell for much less than £3k.

Looks like the price of diffs has dramatically changed recently, a friend recently blew his B03B up, and couldn’t find anything less than £2.6k for a non rebuilt example. Small case diffs have also seen a bump in value.

Well everyone, I’m pleased to say that the Sup is finally ready to go to paint, should be nice and fresh once it’s done as the glass is coming out for the job. The rusty rad panel is being removed and replaced with a new crossmember from Toyota. Just had a set of stock 17’s refurbed which the car will be rolling on once done . Very satisfying. Should make a nice NA 5 speed for the new owner once I listed it shortly after the bodywork.

Could be some of the traders on there trying to discourage the lower entry point you advertised. Happening all to often to be a coincidence. A friend of mine had this happen to him when selling his S15 and another when selling his R32 GTR. This all said, it might just be a numpty, nice looking car

I often get guys asking about the cars when I’m at the petrol station or during the Edinburgh fringe you’ll often get tourists from America shouting over. I’ve noticed females prefer the red one over the RSP.

It’s been a long while since I enjoyed a top gear segment, glad I bought a MKIV and held onto it, as it’s a sure fire future classic. Lovely UK Spec RSB .

If you have a 98 NA Manual then it should be a V161 as standard, what does your vin plate have on it? I know that there was a bit of mixing and matching going on in 1996/1997 cars but a 98 should be a V161. Also if you are in Glasgow again, drop me a line and you can meet some of the other Supra lot as we meet now and again.

That’s actually a sign of authenticity Mike, all genuine TRD caps have this spelling mistake on the packaging. It’s kind of a cool quirk. Looks genuine to me

VVTi airboxes are different to the pre-facelift, best of luck with the search.
