  2. I have a little pull out tray in my car. Don't know the part number but its handy for storing the stereo remote so may be a useful alternative to also look for.
  3. There is an entire setup except the evaporator on eBay. Looks a bit beat up but you cannot get the hoses any longer so it worth the opening money just for the compressor and pipework. You really should be looking to buy a new Denso condenser and drier anyway. Its good timing as they don't come up for sale that often.
  4. Cars never go too fast, sometimes though the drivers are just too slow. Car is showing as never having had an MOT which is strange as you need to MOT an import first before you can get it registered
  5. If only it were so, the TCB site hasn't been updated for many years so double that and it'll be somewhere near to correct.
  6. 7 dogs. Lots of local farms have break ins - we seem to get overlooked.
  7. Hopefully you'll find time to keep this thread updated with how the coatings stand up to time and repeated washing. What was the cost? That could dissuade many from considering this as a feasible approach to paint protection.
  8. Last aero I saw sold very quickly at £27k advertised price. That was a TT though.

    Wifi boosters

I run all networks across my home and office sites that includes ethernet, wifi and DLAN. I've run wifi range extenders and additional DLAN adapters. The DLAN powerline adapters proved easier to locate as they just plug right into a mains socket, they are easier to operate and more reliable in distributing the broadband to out of the way locations. I have tried MESH DLAN adapters but they didn't maintain a stable connection to the router over the powerline even using the same sockets that the DLAN adapters have working in well for years. So I've ended up with ethernet in the office with router wifi for phone connection. Then elsewhere its DLAN and on the pre-MESH DLAN you can get a 1.2Mb connection rate whish in plenty to stream from. DLAN is cheap, you can buy adapters for £30 that you can plug into any socket on the same ring main as the router. You can get the wifi enabled DLAN adapters for around £50. When you go for the MEST options you are running around three times the prices for a theoretical doubling in transfer speeds that you aren't likely to need even with 4k streaming. You can second hand DLAN 500Mbps adapter network setups for around £40, probably from seller who have upgraded to the latest MESH adapters.
  10. All looking way too clean. I've looked into blast cabinets but figured I'd really need a three phase or diesel powered 20cfm+ compressor for that. I have a 200l industial single phase by my ramp but that still only manages around 15cfm which seems to be near to the top end for single phase and that struggles to get the air tools turning as though they really mean it. So I tend to stick mostly with the mains or battery powered tools or my three foot breaker also gets a fair amount of use. I recon you'd need a 5hp motor pushing around the upper teens cfm into a 200l tank to blast with ease. That or a lot more patience with a lower cfm compressor. Some say you can blast as low as 10cfm if you drop the nozzle size but I'd imagine then you'd probably run into blockages or too fine a powder to cut effectively. Could be worthwhile looking into though for your compressor setup?
  11. Reads to me like you have an earthing issue. I'd have a look at the main earth lead to see that it isn't corroded, terminal frayed and isn't hot. That would assume that the rain is just coincidental to your problem.
  12. The pipework is probably worth more than the intercooler as old oxidised fins really drop the cooling efficiency and there are after market SMIC's readily available..
  13. The only time I ever had a judder gradually appear on a newish clutch was when it'd got oil contaminated. But it could easily be caused by sloppy mounts, bearings and bushes. So many parts on these cars are just old, When under my car, I constantly gaze at my original fit propshaft rubber coupler and think I really should be changing it out sometime before it fails and vibrations set in.

  15. Shit, I've got 3 sets. I was hedging for £1,000 a set. I'm surprised at the pricing as Toyota GB currently advertise headlights on eBay at £380 a unit. It'll be the first known instance of Supra parts deflation. Fantastic.
  16. I used to get all my tyres from Camskill but I've found they have gone pretty dear these days. I ended up buying Verde all seasons from my RR and had them supplied and fitted by a local mobile fitter for less than the Camskill delivered price. I don't think I've bought a tyre off them for at least 2 years now.

  18. The ABS light does go off fairly quickly so you would need to be quick to catch it on camera but its always worth checking that as it is a common quick fix to wheel speed sensor problems, to delete the ABS light. I always wonder about AC being a simple fix as I once paid a garage over £1,000 many years ago to replace the condenser and recharge. Probably not unreasonable seeing Toyota charged £600 for the part at the time, today you can buy the same Denso part for a little over £100. So the parts would be under £200 for the condenser, a new drier and the recharge R134a. I don't have a feel for how much an AC delete devalues a car but I'd suspect its a lot more than it'd cost you in parts to undelete. Not likely to worry anyone if the lack of AC was reflected in the price, though £21k is nudging up there with the very best.
  19. Looks like there could be a problem with the ABS warning bulb on the right panel display. With the market price drive to stock I suppose its debatable whether no AC is a bad bit, that probably depends on how far the delete went as to whether it could be reinstalled and reinstated at reasonable cost or not.

    Radiator

I bought in a new radiator as a spare last year seeing my car is still running on its original. Got it via TCB and there is no longer an OEM option but there are radiators that look similar (including an expensive Blue Print option) that are listed for the Supra. You can get an auto rad which will fit and work in both an auto or MT car or for and extra £60 you could get a manual rad which is the same minus the oil cooler element. So, I bought an auto rad and if people want you can always run your PAS fluid through it or just leave it unused. I wrote a thread last year on radiators that detailed all the lookalike options.

    Dashboard Refurb

All it looks like you have there is a footprint of glue residue thats trapped itself a good amount of dust. A non destructive thing to try is warm dilute vinegar on a few layers of kitchen towel laid over the patch to allow it to soak into the glue then once it has sat a while and still warmish and still surface wet take a toothbrush to the area to roll up the old adhesive. Then wipe away. If that doesn't work WD40 is supposed to be good at softening residual glue but I'd want to check white spirit doesn't stain or bleach the vinyl on a test area first. Lastly, a nuclear option would be a acetone wipe but that will attack (dissolve) certain plastics.
  23. I bought a load of bulbs for the Supra instruments and back lights for the a/c controller and they all were available from Toyota. Not cheap mind, expect to pay £4 to £7 per bulb.
  24. Thats starting to look a good price, £900 + VAT. There is one listed on ebay in silver for £900 VAT free. Seems sellers just think everything is discontinued and although Toyota has silly prices sellers are looking to match or even beat these silly toyota prices.
  25. I have a set of stock twins sold to me by an individual who mods a lot of Supras. Sold to me as a low 46k mile set from a fresh import supra that went single. There is no visible vane damage. I bought them with the intention of having them rebuilt to sit on my shelf ready for if/when I would have a need but I haven't got around to having that done in the 3 years since I bought them. Willing to sell them for what I paid which is £200 with buyer to arrange collection (so the buyer decides on what level of insurance cover to pay for). Comes with all the gubbings including oil lines. I can take and send some pics over if you are interested.
