I sent a email request into Mobil UK regarding batch number references on their 1l bottles and there has been no response after the initial acknowledgement. Fukkin useless.

The Dinitrol 3125 spray (in a aerosol) is a perfect solution to get to all the hard to get to spaces fast. It leaves a high residue corrosion preventing grease film that dries to the touch after a day or so so it won't grab all the dust and dirt if you can leave it that long. I've sprayed this into section, on top of frames and into rails and onto double skin joins. Fast and easy. On painting surfaces then POR paint goes a long way but its very thin so does tend to run or drip annoyingly often. The PRO paint react with air and metal to give a tight bubble wrap type layer. It's strange stuff but being a plastic type polymer it does create a air and water barrier which is what rust needs to feed and grow. If you want to see what is going on with the metal you are covering or treating then the Dinitrol wax will allow you to see any return of rust or rust developing whereas pretty much with any other coating it'll be out of sight and gloriously then also out of mind.

If you wanted new there are companies still listing these in Japan for about £900, which would be around £1,350 landed taxes paid. I have a surplus first and second cat, not perfect but the 2nd cat is pre-facelift so unlike the facelift its full of honeycomb goodness in there which gives it a decent scrap value. It is my cars original so 100k miles and 22 years old when removed meaning the heat shield is a bit the worse for wear (which is why I changed it as part of my car underside revamp/renewal). If you want I can take a few pics and send those over (you'd need to PM your phone number). Then you could give an offer if interested for the cat and a roll of bubble wrap.

90105-08153 X7 91511-B0850 X2 Should be available from Toyota for around £50, or via TCB for around £30.

Or if you want to go really cheap the D3 filter is a Denso filter under Denso product reference 150-2010. RockAuto list those at £2.49 a filter. I have a thread somewhere on this site with a 5% discount code for this supplier. They do really low ship rates from the USA so if you order 5 or more filters you could have those landed taxes paid for a little over £5 a filter.

Didn't see this was a reheat of an old thread I started - no point writing the same again about USA amazon deals.

If you do get invited its quite a commitment of four days of your time and you'll also have hotel costs. So you need to budget the time and a good amount of money but if you are fortunate enough to be selected the four days (including the setup day) are fun and just fly past. A lot of Supra's go onto SORN now over the winter so the options on fresh metal must be diminishing each year for this November show. A potential problem when the last thing punters want to see is the same cars, same faces every year.
-
You can still buy these new and not expensive either. Have a gandar at Amayama, probably TCB could get you a pair cheap enough.

The only thing for sure with this is you and Ian will organise a great showing. I fear for the viability of this event if punters and exhibitors cannot chat about the cars face to face, touching the metal as they travel through a one way system keeping 2m apart. It'll be a job just to filter people into the event as there have always been large squeezed in masses awaiting the hall opening. Anyone attending this year as one of the paying public is going to have to be a hardcore follower of the classics. Hopefully it doesn't get pulled through lack of ticket sales which could happen if people wait see to just before the event is due to be held.

I performed an inventory last year on my Supra parts for insurance value cover and there are things sitting here gathering dust that others could get to use constructively before I ever will. Note the prices were ballpark along with everything else in my garage that was ball parked for our insurance cover stock take and its also from last year, so the numbers only give a rough guide price. If mods don't like that then do delete the thread. All parts are OE unless it states aftermarket. I'm not after doing a clear out or give away but If anyone is of need of something and wants to ask I can only say no or yes. If its something I could let go then I'll see if I can dig it out of storage to give a firm price based upon its condition and send pics if required. One thing I won't be parting with is the OE wheels as I have those scheduled for my next refurb project to strip, de-curb and paint. IF ANYONE HAS 17" OEM WHEELS FOR SALE THERE ARE LOTS OF PEOPLE LOOKING

I'd start by checking all the clamps on your inlet side hosing. That's my only experience of major power loss on turbo cars is when a pipe has blown off or leaking past a loose clamp.
-
There does happen to be an eBay listing at the moment and its priced reasonably with a make a lower offer option. If you are after a pre-facelift clock I'd recommend you jump on this like the proverbial ferret eager to get up that pipe.

I believe the mounting is different 93-96 to 96-2002 clock so you might want to add to your post what model clock you are after. I think the facelift clock is still available in Japan for many hundreds of £'s. You very rarely see these advertised these days so expect to pay dear and probably a breaker will be your best bet. If I have a couple of spare clocks I may be willing to let one go, I'm not sure if I'm holding one or two spares. My spares are all for 93-96 model cars.
-
I very much doubt that is true.
-
Until Denso start making them again any information on suitable alternatives will always be welcomed.
-
The price is back. I didn't edit it back in so one has to assume one of the mods is now editing posts. I'm not entirely convinced that is a right and proper activity for anyone to be editing posts other than the OP unless its Ric tidying up the typos.

Headlights sold.

There is one on eBay for £180 which is a lot better than if there was a pair. Bit of a bargain really.

wanted Crappy plastic pre facelift jdm Headlights
rider replied to Steviegeeza's topic in Parts Wanted
Plastic lenses, unless they are cracked, can usually be polished to look pretty much as good as new so I'm not sure crappy lights translates to cheap lights. Sellers have to give a price, those are forum rules. Probably buyers should to. -
Plenty available in the USA for a few $, some on ebay.com would have one landed to your door for around £15. You could go for the FK-130SH which is the same as the RH but spins twice as fast (20k rpm). Thats only £3 delivered. Don't look at the other models with different ending two letters as they are either lower voltage or spin at much faster rates - up to 100,000 rpm. That'd be fun.

There was a new one listed on ebay.com for a lot of money. I have a few spare clocks lost in my garage but they are all the pre-facelift type.
