Do you know when in 2014 as whifbitz released their uprated SMIC in October 2014 according to their website?

Does anyone have a set of headlight washers originally from a UK Supra that would be willing to sell?

I totally agree which is why I haven't slated anything. Its clear if the car hasn't moved since August the price being asked does not match the market conditions. No amount of saying great spec and that's undervalued will likely change that unless you plan heading there later with the cash. I only expressed something that is patently obvious and if the OP wants a sale for early in the New Year as they indicated they do, it (it - being the price) is something they should be looking at. I happen to believe its difficult to justify £20k in the price on mods alone. I may wrong but any project car is a personal crusade, just needs others to be on the same page which doesn't always happen; hence why many single turbo Supras end up being broken for parts because the parts do not (usually - invariably) add value to the base car over or even at the cost of the parts. Wish the OP the very best for the sale and hope they can see my input as realistic/constructive.

For £22k I'd probably want a radio fitted. I'll say it as others often shy away for fear of upsetting, it appears expensive for the VIN plate that bears no resemblance to the finished car and has no great stock value. You could pick up a NA auto for £4k, probably a NA rolling shell for £1.5k. maybe the mods add £20k or maybe they don't. that's the choice people are faced with when buying into someone else's project car.

I lived once upon a time in Central Scotland and my first car had disintegrated almost entirely by 4 years old. it was a Hillman though, out of the lets rust today more than we did manage yesterday Linwood plant. I weighed in at a heavy 9 stone back then and the drivers seat fell through the floor on one corner. Made for interesting braking on a dipping seat. Lights were held in with filler, even had the adjuster screws tapped into filler. The rear overhangs, more fibreglass and mesh than anything else. Never seen a car melt away quite like that. Its a salty place.

For choice its probably best looking for a M3 rather than a Supra as there must be loads of those in and around Essex. Not a bad car if you get past the cracked frames.

Slight problem is the Americans wouldn't be interested in RH drive vehicles so the only UK imports they will be taking would be to strip for parts. I can see it'll be like e-types are to us with lots being brought back into the country with the more likely export market being the RH drive ones in Japan and other LH Asia countries

It might help if you outline, in a new thread, specifically what you are looking for. My more specific ad has had replies and raised one very interesting prospect. Other than that, keep plugging away at the classifieds, TT6's are being freshly listed but they are tending towards the bolt on plastic, bucket seats and harness, roll cage kind at the moment which may or may not be your thing.

The 19 inch Jade R wheels are quite a bit pricier than the 18's. Wheelheaven are listing these at £1,200 new. Not sure if that's a bargain or not for a bone breaker ride.

There is a listing for a 2jz-GTE complete engine and V161 gearbox running on Fleabay that is a fraudulent listing. Pictures ripped from a USA sale so best avoided. Dodgy seller account also has ripped listings for other engine/gearbox combinations running. I was asked this question a good many times at the NEC Classic show by both people who are actively looking for a supra and others, just out of interest. I've been following Supra prices for 20 years and I have a shed load of classic cars so I think I have some idea what is marketable and desirable in the classics World. I was telling anyone who asked that I expect my matching numbers, never been re-sprayed 040 white TT6 will be worth £45k within seven to ten years. And that the Supra, being one amongst a very few cars that have established cult film status over the last 50 years the Mk4 Supra is guaranteed immortality as an icon. Meaning that for museum piece low mileage, mint, stock cars there literally is no limit on Supra values which will naturally drag all the dog eared Mk4 Supra values up. However, classic value is firmly tied to originality so the most expensive Supra will never be a 1000hp rocket with lots of bolt on plastic and Kevlar. it'll be one of your 325bhp as it rolled out of the factory TT6's.

The ad doesn't say what the setup is so I asked just in case its a bargain price TT6 - its a 5 speed NA.
