i have just fitted a momo wheel.I replaced a 4 spoke airbag wheel.the momo i bought off ebay.the boss came from whiffbit(paul whiffin) it cost 120.75 delivered.

i owned a Treg. 2.4T about 10 yrs. ago.i had no trouble with the car.with front wheel drive you have trouble putting power down from low speeds-you get torque steer.the 2.3t has more power so torque steer will be increased.once you get going the accelleration will be good.the car has good styling and is a comfortable drive.wouldnt mind another one!

the cable that goes to left of brake servo is the throttle cable isnt it?the other cable disappears down towards rear of autobox but cant see exactly where.took car to a transmission specialist but they guessed it was kickdown.but i thought kickdown was a switch not a cable.the reason im looking into this is because when i engage r or d when engine is cold (but idle has steadied at 750ish)it engages with quite a violent jolt.after a good run it engages a lot smoother.took it to another transmission specialist and they thought it my be a kickdown problem and they fiddled with this cable.i got impression that it foxed them!

i dont have cruise control.is this cable installed even if you dont have it?

two cables next to each other in engine bay.one is the throttle cable and the other seems to go to the autobox.whats its function?(96 n/a auto)

I bought car off ebay a few months ago off a trader from the wigan area.the car was imported sept 08and had one previous owner who i have been in contact with.the pictures on ebay are the exact copies of the pics when i bought.I have emailed ebay and informed them.

thanks again chris- read dipstick when engine was running and its ok so problem must be due to some other fault.

thanks chris. i will check it again.when i checked it the engine wasnt running.oil was 3 inches over the hot level.

my gear changes arent smooth-it clings onto the gear too long then changes with a jerk.also it changes down quickly when you accelerate fairly lightly almost like kicking down.

would an overfilled autobox affect its operation or is it only harmful in that it could ruin the seals?

about 5 months ago i went to wrc when i was looking for my supra.they had about 5 supras for sale then and i think the same ones are still there.the cars looked tatty and baddly presented.i would stay well clear.

have you got a momo steering wheel boss to replace a 4 spoke airbag wheel.if so how much?
