I had this fuel pump issue on my NA Aristo, and yes they do run the same 8v and 12v setup as the TT, I personaly switched over to a TT fuel pump ECU, if yours is constantly only showing 8v your fuel pump ecu isn't working right, try a replacement or see if the TT one's fit. Regarding the 4k AFR issue, its gonna be the map on the stock ECU which is setup for the twins, and won't be suited to a single turbo, ideally u need a full standalone or at least a piggy back to get the fuelling and timing suited. Do you still have the stock distributor installed?

Strange alternator/charging problem, help needed!
TRD-1 replied to Swampy442's topic in Non-Supra Technical
Sounds like it could be linked to the wiring Craig or a connector/terminal, fit in a temporary volt gauge so u can monitor the voltage as your driving to see if it stays around 14V or drops suddenly. Could be a break in the wiring somewhere or a weak connection to the battery. If you have any heavy duty stereo wiring fit extra earth connections one for the battery and one for the alternator if that doesn't cure it then attempt to replicate the positive side wiring from the alternator to the battery and see if its that side. -
Lexus 2jz ge engine in supra, what's needed?
TRD-1 replied to Crash Bandicoot's topic in mkiv Technical
I take it ur Supra is a JDM NA? If so ur choice of wiring and ecu will depend on this working, the JDM mk4 Supra NA ecu manual or auto won't run a GS300 engine with its wiring loom. The NA from a GS300 is MAF based, where as the NA from a supra is MAP based, also im pretty sure the interior wiring loom will be different between the GS300 and Supra. Minus the other few minor differences between these engines, best thing to do would be get hold of a JDM Supra NA engine wiring loom or use the wiring loom from ur existing engine, connect that to the engine and then it should be plug and play, along with the other changes needed as said above. -
Great write up Kaan, quick question.....when you support the transmission with the trolley jack before lowering it, where do you place the jack to keep the tranmission balanced so it doesn't fall to one side when lowering, is a block of wood needed or a special type of jack?

A great set of links there David!....Ive got the GTE Ecu mod working in my JDM NA Aristo using VVTI coil packs and the rest of the sensors needed, the plan is to go down the NA-T route but to use a TT gearbox and running gear and see how far I can go with it all.
-
I think the Toyota Celica GT4 uses a gearbox oil cooler, Im pretty sure they all came with manual transmission to, so it would definitely be a option to try and prolong the life of the W58 at higher power levels.

Hi mate, Ive done this on my NA Aristo, Ive got the TT Ecu working, using VVti coilpacks and Ignitor, there isn't that much wiring changes involved. I used a thread from clublexus, link below and followed it to the word and the car pretty much fired up first time after the ECU change, u will need the ECU of course, ignitor, coils, Map sensor, u need to ground the extra cam sensor grounds on the ecu side, 440c injectors, and do a few other bits and bobs....I did this on a auto and the ECU is throwing a few codes on the box, but its all working, if ur manual then Id go with a 6 speed TT Ecu, anyway check out this thread

TRD-1 Hey Guys, add me in to, Im doin a build on clubaristo.net where im hoping to run my NA-T with a TT ECU and few other TT engine parts.

Marco its possible to run the GTE Ignition on a GE engine, its not overly difficult, will require u making a small custom wiring loom for the Ignitor and coilpacks. The best thread in the world that covers this is here

So what was the plan with the Distributor cap, does the T61 fit with the stock cap, or have u changed it to a 4runner, or removed the Distributor completely?
-

Interesting point, pretty much every time Heaven is mentioned, saints or fanatical followers of the religioin are mentioned, and Hell is always for individuals who refuse to follow and who do what they like totally disobedient towards god (God being the key word here, as heaven and hell are only present when god is present, when god is dead so is heaven and hell), the fact that majority of child abuse goes on in strictly religious atmosphere's due to the overly unatural laws they try to follow is quite obvious. But there would be no age limits in hell, so If I was 13 and the person I liked was 13 to, when what the hell......
-
What a brilliant thread. Im not into religion or science either so my knowlege on such things is limited......But words of a interesting thinker...."There is another world, but that world is hidden inside this"......Majority of religion and so called spiritual paths have become all full of rubbish now all the authentic messages have been forgotten all that really remains is a politicians interpretation which is just gonna be totally wrong.....Following all that shit is gonna be absolutly absurd and a waste I feel. The way I see it is if all the really juicy people go to hell then that is where I would like to go, I mean all the real people, the people of integrity the people of high courage or direction are pretty much all sinners and they will end up in Hell, and that is where I would rather be, living in Heaven will be so boring, where everyone will be dead no high spirits, all trying to be good, no fast cars, just following the 30mph speed limit.....no thanks!....I think the Juices of life are in living fully and totally without any commandments, without any doctrines without any shit!.....I would promote freedom in this context, absolute freedom. Purity - A pure life is a total life, purity doesn't mean being good or following a idiot, it means being total within urself being total in everything you do and the route to this wholeness, or to this depth/height is through awareness, through conciousness from all the masters and mystics who have experieced such a state have all stated over the ages about the importance of a personal quest into oneself, and in that journey is where all the answers will be revealled a journey from being a sheep to roaring like a Lion. This is the gift which is our birthright everyone's birthright. Such a state of pure conciousness of such depth is difficult to explain and express but the closest expression or the closest feeling is when one makes love, sexual ejaculation is known as the closest feeling to the beginning of such a state, its known as the first step. Drugs things like LSD have all come into existence to replicate such a state, the height of such a enlightened one and his state of being is only expereinced through getting there urself, but these inventions of drugs etc have all been to try and get there as a shortcut to taste it, they don't even come close its like a very bad taste of the real experience. Getting back to the topic, ghosts/supernatural as we know it, these I feel are all lower levels, we are alive we are much higher than dead people they have lived there lives and can't come back we are in the present its now our moment why waste it in such useless activities, there isnt much to be learnt from them, bad spirits, devil possession etc all is a fragment and been exploited from the real truth, the real authentic truth isn't no where near what we are shown or told. So to keep urself from getting pulled in funny and wierd situations which ain't gonna make a difference to ur state, get on with modifing your cars and refine them as much as u can, make them creations of gods and through this refining maybe one day you will be able to direct that energy towards ur inner self and refine that to, its not difficult only takes a change in the direction of ur energy.

Hi All, Im currently planning a project, and I need help from a few experts who have experience in engine conversions. I have been offered a 1997 Chaser LX100 diesel very cheap, the diesel engine in it siezed up and was removed along with the box. I was having thoughts about fitting in a 2JZGTE or a 1JZGTE, not sure which to go for. The chaser JZX100 came with the 1JZGTE engine from the factory so that might be a better option, I have been offered an Aristo engine with a manual wiring loom and ecu and for the same price a complete 1JZ soarer. Im not 100% on what work is involved and if its a possible conversion. I would be attempting the work myself Ive never done this sort of work before so it would be my first engine conversion with help and advice. I am looking to also go manual from auto using the R154 and JZ bellhousing but again need advice. Any thoughts and advice or involvement is much appreciated!
