  1. Apexi do ECV's with the main purpose to quieten down exhausts by fitting them inline in the exhaust pipe. Out of curiosity has anyone used them for the opposite purpose - using it as a manual bypass when you want to make the exhaust louder? It would require fabrication to effectively make it into a short Y pipe. https://www.nengun.com/apexi/exhaust-control-valve
  2. What part of Ireland are you in?

  4. Do you have any videos of it driving? How many miles are on it?
  5. My current Lion branded jspec size battery has became end of life and I want something that's going to last longer than 3 years this time. I am limited to the jspec size battery due to the expansion radiator water tank but I have the larger terminal ends fitted so ideally a good powerful jspec size with larger terminals.. not sure if that's even possible but if not just something that will last. Cheers
  6. That looks tidy! I love the flush look of it almost oem looking if you didn't know. I'd be afraid of someone pressing them when I'm parked up somewhere and then driving along not knowing it isn't properly locked down

  8. Thanks for the replies so far. I dont want to go back to stock as I really like the Abflug look. Also toying with removing the gold pin locks and replacing then with more modern looking black or carbon fibre latches
  9. My Supra has an Abflug bonnet and the slogan is lacquered over but now that I am going to be repainting it again in the same colour, I have a choice to make - get the slogan reapplied again to it, probably on top of the lacquer this time or else just keep it plain and not apply it. What do you guys think??

    Broadband speed

Plug your computer into the router using an ethernet cable and run a speed test on: https://www.speedtest.net/ That will accurately tell you what you are getting download and upload Doing speed tests over Wifi or using your phone is not accurate at all
  18. Resurrecting an old thread... So another few years have now passed, what are people's opinions of water meth kits now - are they still worthwhile or is there a more prefered method to keeping the cylinders cool whilst improving performance?
  19. Hi Jellybean, What did you end up going for in the end? I am considering fitting a Water Meth Injection kit to mine..
  20. Having spoke again with the mapper regarding the WMI, he said adding it after the mapping would not be advised since it will be altering the AFRs etc. I do agree with his point and am going to go ahead and get it fitted beforehand. Have you your nozzles fitted close to the throttle body or a bit further away? I purchased the Lucas transmission fix which is around 750ml I think but on the instructions it states that it can be added without having to drain any of the existing fluid out, surely this would cause the level to be above max?
