Evening guys looking for some advice regarding my na-t build I've got almost everything I need to start the build I've been collecting parts for the past year and I'm almost at the point I can make a start I just have a few questions I need answers too. I'm wanting to run a ffim however I'm struggling to get my head around all the vacuum pipes has anyone got any pics that could help me out ?.Secondly I'm auto what will i need to do with the kick down cable coming from the gearbox? Also whats the recommend number for setting the base timing ive seen people mention 7 degrees btdc up to 10 degrees btdc I'll be using a piggyback standard na head gasket running low boost 7psi any help will be much Appreciated.

  5. Engine out or drop the subframe for the return feed for the feed I'm going to use the big bolt that holds the oil housing on.

    Rob looks like you've not had much look finding an answer have you tried asking on the na-t page on Facebook I think a few guys on there use that ecu
  8. Sorry for the delayed reply it was the crank bolts 4 of them were finger tight the flex plate literly had 1mm play in hinsight it should have been checked in the first place but we were convinced it was bottom end so didn't even bother checking
  9. Ok guys finally solved the rattle took gearbox off as I was Gona change the tc and boom the bloody flex plate wasn't tight 4 of the bolts were finger tight coulnt belive it anyway all is good now thank you all for the advice and help it was much appreciated

  11. Na-t guys Good afternoon I'm currently in the middle of making my own ffim for my ge in preparation of going na-t In the future how has everyone got around the vacuum pipes on the tb and plenium are they all needed or can some be removed totally confused any help would be much appreciated.

  14. Sounds like your ecu has failed open it up and check for leaking capacitors
  15. Ok cool thanks I know the supra tt box dosent fit on the na supras I just wanted to double check it wasn't the same with the 1jz soarer boxes
  16. Hi guys iv been offerd an auto box and t/c a340 from a 1jz soarer will this fit my na supra auto.
  17. My replacement tc should be here next week I'm Gona get my mechanic to run the engine while the box is off to rule that out I've attached a screenshot of the tc test shown on the tsrm app
  18. Yes this was my concern aswell I deffo don't want to start messing with different diffs

I've got a replacement coming from another member of this group it's come off a perfect working car I just want to know if there's a away of checking it before it gets fitted it does say somthing on tsrm about standing it on its end and turning some kind of tool inside I cant work it out hence the start of this thread

The bearings that were in the engine would have been ok to put back in but I had them replaced anyway as I'd all ready baught the new bearings before any work had even commenced the noise is I'm 100 percent coming from the gearbox as the rattle disappears when you listen under the engine sump the crank was in perfect condition with no marks at all it wasn't pulled out and measured as the builder did not feel it was necessary and I wanted to keep costs down as much as I can.
