I've got the full Race Porterfields and they are a bit sqeauky, but make a hell of a difference over stock, AFter taking the car to a track day recently at Donington they did the job with no fade at all.

I dont think you can without removing lots of things, just jack it up and get on your back..... will be alot quicker as far as i'm aware.

Yer it is, he doesnt live far from me......I know from EGT temps without the CAT that on full thrash i can reach 920 degrees darent think about what this would be with CAT in place, it did reach 980 once when i was running 1.4Bar for a bit...

You can specify what Boost you want to have with the restrictor ring although its not 100% accurate, i said i wanted no higer than 1.2 Bar, and mine boosts to 1.22 so its fairly accurate.. When i get Water Injection and a few other things i''l file out the restrictor ring a bit to maybe 1.25Bar or 1.3Bar As for the fuel pump being necessary, its advised due to more fuel required for the upgrade can account to detonation at high revs. Upgraded Spark Plugs solved mine when i 1st raised the boost...

I took both my cats out and the boost went silly to 1.4Bar (was bloody quick though) Got a restrictor ring in the end, i know it defeats the object of taking the cat out, but will reduce heat massively compared to the CAT.

You should be safe at that kinda boost with standard stuff, but you could look along the lines of Water Injection or a FMIC, to safeguard....

I was gently pootling along the local carriageway one brisk sunday last week, before i got to Donington and i got to 125 Leptons and the car just stopped dead like hitting a wall, it then backs off and you can re-apply the power but then stops dead again at 125 Leptons Strange as i was doing 140 Leptons 3 nights before,,,,,, has my limiter kicked back in or is it something else? Theres a pint in it for the best answer:thumbs:

I did that the other day Wooting up the A50 i was overboosting so was seeing about 1.35 Bar, and i heard a pop , though shit, had no boost at all, looked under the bonnet the intercooler pipe had blown off at the bottom!!! Put it back on and tightened her up, the top Clip was loose as well.. Definetly something to check especially when raising boost.

I've got an Aeorotop and had no problemsd so far with the bolts, but i do wonder sometimes that i may be stripping the bolts or if they get damaged how do you take the roof off or put it back on? Anyone know of a quick release system for these?

I got HKS iridiums they are fine to 1.4 Bar not been any higher though......
