Hi mate I would say it was the tensioner as well it happened to my Mr2 Turbo the exact same as yours with all da bits as well bearning was faulty You got it just in time you lucky lucky person

Just a quick note to say Hello . Just purchased my Supra This week and what a great car I have owned 3 Supra's in my Time a 2.8, mark3 non turbo and a Very unusual mark3 2.0 Non turbo Weird !!! I have owned a Rev2 MR2 twin entry turbo for the last 18 months but have always been drawn back to the Supra, Its a Non turbo but a very very clean example and will post pics very soon :search:once I sus out the forums Anyway I look foward to seeing some of ye at some meets Ade
