    Where did you get those fella? If i end up buying them you can yeah, going to try find them cheaper first though, £130 seems steep.

    Got them from a company local to me http://www.kirkleytyresandwheels.co.uk/. I'm not sure if they can post direct to you or not, £140 was a big saving over what other companies sell them for (camskill look to be cheap on them atm though, not many in stock though as they're being discontinued hence the drop in price i guess), they're official dealers of Avon so they get good savings A good person to ask on here would be Craig ( dr_jeckyl ), seeing as tyres are his business. It was him who suggested the Avons, he used them for track days i believe.

    Got a price today from Steve Manley, £131.76 delivered for the pair. Think i may see if i can get some spats first as its probably the cheaper option, if not i will replace these.

    Good to hear it fella. Sounds stupid but i try to get to speak to a female assistant at insurance firms as, to me, they seem more willing to help and are more patient.

    Looks to me like he bought it as a 6 speed NA, swapped the 6speed out for a 5speed in order to transplant the 6speed into his other Supra which is a TT. Since taking the 6speed out he has been using this as his daily driver.

    I used to use Swinton as they have an office about 10 minutes from me. Never heard of providence though but surfice to say i will never use them. Hope you get everything sorted fella.

    Hello friend. Welcome to the club. To upload photo's, you can either upload them directly to the site by clicking the "Go Advanced" button and selecting the paperclip symbol to upload the photo, or upload the photo to an external hosting site like www.photobucket.com and copying and pasting the Img link from them onto here. Word to the wise though, you will get pulled up for not using proper sentances and for using txt talk, so save yourself the hassle and just type as you would speak. Simples

    I'll say it again, Insurance Companies are such rip of Merchants. I would be calling his insurance company direct and telling them you know exactly what they are up too. Ask them for the recorded message. It's shameful the guy agreed to make a claim, just plain greed that.

    If you want this thread to be considered for moving to the "Projects Thread", you will need to upload and attach the photo's to the site instead of posting the links to imageshack Plus, then i'll be actually able to see the photos

    I just bought Avon ZZ3's, got them at £140 a tyre. From what i've heard they are very good tyres.

    Edit: My comment wasn't aimed at whether or not you were correct or not that he was driving too close. It was aimed at the fact that even though you had literally no information about what had happend, you'd made a bold statement that it had to be his fault.

    Try doing what Rog has suggested and see if they drag their heels then. I normally ask to speak to a manager/supervisor if i'm having problems, they seem more inclined to sort the problem for you not the mention actually having the power to do so.

    What insurance company is it out of interest? From what i have seen over the years, insurance companies are a law unto themselves, they seem to be able to get away with anything and make the rules up as they go along. Hope you get it sorted fella, from what i'm reading it sounds like your getting ripped off. The sad thing is, i doubt you'll be able to do anything about it
