It just shows you how much people cant afford to run these sort of cars these days. £1.30 a litre for High Octane round the corner from me. 6K is a Very reasonable price IMO.

Thanks for the replies guys...all very good as usual....which is why i feel pretty guilty right about now, turns out the car is registered as NI but...its actually kept in England lol. My bad guys...in my defence it was in tiny text at the bottom and Northern Ireland was in big old eye catching bold letters....i'm a epic div i know. Haha anyways, i quite like the car and it seems to have plenty of service history so i'm gonna go see it next week. Love GT4's, cant get enough of the front end...god i love those damn japs !!

Hi guys, this might be a silly question but i'm asking it anyway just to be 100%. Are they're any pitfalls associated with buyin a car from Northern Ireland and bringing it up into England (as in extra costs or paperwork). Seeing as they're both part of the UK i dont see any problem but i thought i'd ask as i've never done it. I've tried looking through google with little success Thought i'd try on here as someone will probably be able to give me a definitive answer in two seconds Lookin into trying out a Celica GT4 for a bit for a change, and while i save up for a TT. You forgot the most obvious one...the biggest problem with driving so fast is slowing down afterwards lol. Not a problem for some of these boys Supra's though....Damn you and your superior breaking systems !!

Looks like the only choice for you is to Buy it on Disc and do a fresh install. You'll keep all your files but you'll lose any installed programs you have. This is how i did it. It was easy to just re-download the programs again then re-install them. Dan

I see what you mean now mate, i've had a look and come up with this for you. If you are using Windows XP, then there is no upgrade option to Windows 7. Windows 7 does not provide an direct in-place upgrade for Windows XP that will retain user’s applications, programs, settings, customizations, personalization and data while setup performing installation of Windows. If you try to upgrade to Windows 7 from a system which is using Windows XP, you will be shown this error report which informs you that direct upgrade from Windows XP to Windows 7 is not available. upgrade error Once you get a Windows 7 DVD, you will need to do a fresh install on your machine if you are using Windows XP (although you can upgrade to Vista and then to Windows 7). Microsoft recommends Windows Easy Transfer which can be used to preserve your files and settings from your XP machine, but please note that it will NOT back up and transfer program files and applications. You will need to reinstall all the applications again.

Tell them you want your money back and the alarm taken off. If they wont, open a complaint with Ebay and let them do the leg work. They've obviously taken advantage of her and hoped to get away with it. I had a similar situation a couple months ago, got the Gf to take in my 2nd car while i was offshore to get some new rear tires as they were worn, and they fella tried to get her to do all four and the tracking done. The tracking and front tires were done about 2 months before.
