  1. Hi fellow Supra owners . i've got a 94 plate N/A auto. when i go to start her i just get a starter solenoid clicking it will do it 5 or 6 times then the supra starts . i've checked the battery all good , checked the output from the alternator all gd . I'm i looking at a knackered starter solenoid or a knackered starter motor (but the starter motor does start the car ok) Is the starter solenoid built into the starter motor . i know when i turn the key i can here the solenoid clicking but not engauging to starter motor. Any idea's ?
  2. lol chav and supra dont go in the same sentence . if it was a R33 then yes chav all the way pmsl but mk4 supra never. The list of cars you've quoted there so beneath you it not worth giving them the time of day.
  3. They look good , nice and big , look like a proper sports car on any road , Not as nice as a gen3 Rx7 styling wise but very close (just my thoughts). (yes Rx7s are a pain in the arse engine wise i agree mate). A true Japanese icon's Rx7 Gen3 , R32 GTR and MK4 Supra TT (not in any order) forget your 4doors a true sports car should only come with a pair of doors and have a long bonnet. Supra's have the lot in my book.
  4. Pink or Brown luv ? works wonders lol
  5. keep the good work up,
  6. £30.01 lol oh dear out bid already
  7. supra seats weigh a ton , hope your putting a K20a or B18c engine in it.
  8. i'll be there sun'd its a good show. i'll plodding down the M1 from nottingham 10ish lol.
  9. Made mine more responsive to be honnest , increased the induction noise though lol.
  10. I used 76mm for mine. got a 90 bend 6inch by 6 inch had to cut 2inch off to get it to clear my shrut brace, two 76mm sil hoses then a 6 inch by 6 inch 45 bend to my air filter then heat wrapped the lot (i would add a pic but me and computers ) itcost me less than £40.
  11. Are you getting anymore of these in , do you know or were these really thelast ones ever lol. cheers Mark
  12. That is very good mpg. How much did it cost you to have that fitted ? if you don't mind me asking lol .
  13. Yeah i saw this supra at the Tesco , looked really nice. I was in my supra but it was behide a big white van so guess you didn't see mine lol.
  14. I've owned a gto , evo , scooby , civic ,R32 GTR , R32 GTS-T , R32-GT4, borrowed an Gen 3 Rx7 . Rx7's are mint light , handle really well but re-builds after 30,000miles . to be honest a R32-GTR is the way to go allday mate , they handle , they have got the power , they are a Jap ICON , legend , You can import one for around less than 4k now. You couldnt get a good TT supra for that.
  15. That's sooooo wrong . poor car. there should be law's against barry's owning nice cars , He/she should of got a R33 GTS-t as there the new chav car lol.
  16. Thanks for taking the time to reply mate. Thanks i'm going to give it another go today. Right all sorted don't think the place i took it to have the pads while i was at work even tied , it just took me 30mins a side to free'um off . Oh well if you want somethink doing right DO IT YOURSELF lol.
  17. Hi as anyone got a pair of front j-spec caliper carriers with non seized sliders at all ? I need them to get my supra through its MOT , that all it failed on was front pads , so i got some new pads and what you know both top sliders are seized solid, tied a blow torch and brut force but no good and don't want to break one in the caliper holder. If anybody has let me know how much please. Cheers all.

    gto

No worries. There all 4wd , N/A and TT ,the N/A is 3ltr V6 4cam 24v jobbie 220bhp same as a N/A mk4 supra but there not as quick tho is a straight line but they handle better into a corner (4wd). the TT is i think 280bhp mk1 , the face-lift N/A is 250bhp and TT is 320bhp i think lol. good cars but high tech gizmo's can go wrong . Rob at evil knows his stuff . euro spec are good too . i've seen the euro spec gto do a 10sec 1/4 at shakie tho.

    gto

I had a gto they are good car but man do they like petrol lol. Just keep on top of the oil changing ie engine , transfer box , gearbox and rear diff and don't put cheap oil in it , or the tappets will sound like nails in a tin lol. they do handing really well but boy do they need lowering if there std. Try evil empire for bits , gto forum will cost you £30 odd to join but its worth it for the tech /faults. You can get datalogger for them that you plug a laptop in and have a play.
  20. Hi guys thanks for the welcome . Yeah i'll keep it locked up alright in Nottingham lol. Its cat 1 with a cat 1 immobilizer . I got the car from Blackburn , its an import , what model i don't know. its got parking sensors tho , leather tirm etc all black inside, N/A auto, bright red, 18" alloys are battered (stevie wonders been parking it) a full re-furbs needed, what ever car i have i'll always spend money on it , but i'm not one for shiny paint , or big ice installs ( why add weight to a sports car !) , it will only go on the car if it makes it stop better, go faster or handle better. But thats me lol.
