  2. When do you guys have protein shakes? Do you have them before or after a workout? Geo, where do you buy your shakes from?

  4. You are a strange man Mr Purity. But you do make sense. I don't think I'm ready yet for a Supra, financially or in terms of skill. The time will come however....
  5. We hardly have space here to park our cars let alone an extra one but it is something I've considered doing. I guess its good that I do transition into a Supra. 1.4 8v to a 3.0L straight six beast most likely = death
  6. Lol yup- sums up Hardcore mode and how HAVARD plays the game! Yeah you heard me Havard- and what?! Can't believe they took out the Tactical Nuke for this one I have over 145 Nukes on MW2 I won't be getting this day 1 because I'll be playing a FAR superior game. Battlefield 3 oooh yeah (on PC).
  7. Funny you say this- a few months ago I did the leg press thing (that machine that looks like a vice and I had 180-200kg weights on) and I was so close to passing out and throwing up. Horrible feeling. I DO NOT want to go through that again!
  8. Yeah but I'm getting silly quotes. Sky won't insure me on a 350z, Supra or R33GTST because of a 'lack of driving experience'. Man, I go Go-Karting every 3 weeks and have a Polo with a K&N air filter, K AND N FILTER MAN!! Silly world. Anyway, I think I'll go all VIP on the Lexus- they are so cheap these days, make Chris W cry with the ridiculous camber and low ride height and toy with sc'ing it. And sssh you, just 'cause you've just bought another Supe...in white as well! I would love one in white
  9. I know its early days but I feel built already with my stiff shoulders and chest. I can see this becoming addictive- the whole diet thing and workout routine. Soon I'll be 'coming' in the gym, coming at home (thank you left hand)- coming day and night!
  10. Hehe no babies for me but I need to build driver experience with some half decent cars before I can even think of getting insured on a Supra TT or 350z. Insurance companies hate me for some reason!

  13. How easy are these FI conversions? ARe they simple bolt-ons or do I have to go down the whole forged internals route? Sorry I'm a bit oblivious about these cars. I'm on outlawjapclub now scouring for info. Anyone have any decent pics of nicely modded Altezzas?

  15. Hey guys. I was hoping I could get some info from any guys who know about the aforementioned car. I've tried to find decent forums for the car but I can't find any. Do any of you guys own them? What are they like in terms of reliability, modification options and performance? Also, am I correct in assuming the Altezza is basically the japanese name for the Lexus Is200? Cheers guys.
  16. You're absolutely right. I have a good spotter so I train to absolute failure. Perfecting movement is a learning curve and I am getting better the more I train. Saturday was brilliant- I did my tricpes then shoulders (man was it tough to do shoulders after maxing out on triceps) and I trained to failure every time. My shoulders and triceps like hell but it feels great. Legs today! (Geo's workout plan ) "Aaaaah! The Pump can't beat it, if you can't get your pump on? try dropping the weight and doing a higher rep range." I don't get this pump thing. I literally reached my limit in all of my exercises- there was more pain than pleasure. Surely I don't have to be a sado-masochist to enjoy this feeling?
  17. Andrew, I'm trying to get the basics right and you hit with me that info! I appreciate it though I'm enjoying the gym man. It's addictive- I train to failure every day now. My triceps are so weak though- I can't do a single dip! By the way, is there a place where you can eat out and eat healthy? I think Nandos was the closest thing I could come up with. By the way, do you guys feel the pump? drioQ137NhA
  18. My little fitness guide says more reps (less sets)= burning fat Less reps + higher weights= making muscle I'm confused

  20. Okay I've always felt just slightly tired coming out of the gym. But I don't get it- Arnold Schwarzenegger says pumping iron is better than coming- he says its like heaven- he comes at the gym, he comes when he has sex. I don't feel that I had 2 scrambled eggs and a protein shake for breakfast this morning. For lunch I had a tuna saladbox. I've just googled thai 7 spice- I can't cook to save my life but I guess I'll have to now. Should I have another protein shake before or after I go gym? Ah cheers Andrew. But is it worth doing abs separately anyway for quick gains? Allright- this is my new training regiment now! You're a legend Geo (and everyone else). Really appreciate it. Time to start cummin....I mean pumping iron!
  21. Ah cool Geo. Appreciate it. Yeah I don't just do arms and abs. Is this following okay? Legs and abs- did that yesterday Biceps and chest- today Tricpes and Back? So you're saying once I've done the usual routine and I have a bit of energy left, I should do bicep curls? Also, is it okay to do abs every day? This diet thing is crazy considering what I'm usually accustomed to but I'm determined and I will stick to it.
  22. Okay that diet of yours Geo has come as a bit of a shock to the system Allright, from now on I'm not missing breakfast but that seems like so much to eat! 4 eggs?! I don't want to go for the complete muscles coming out muscles look man. I know you're huge Geo but I'm tiny at the moment with a big belly so I don't think that look would suit me. I'm the one on the right: [ATTACH=CONFIG]140378[/ATTACH] I want decent biceps and triceps and a 6 pack- is this diet suitable? Mikeyb's diet seems more manageable "porridge with raisons, a protein shake, vitamin tablet and a glass of fresh squeezed orange juice." But if 4 eggs is what I need, I'll have 4 eggs! (plus bagel!) 200g chicken, 7 thai spices? Sorry I don't know what this is. Dinner I can do. But what about snacks? Is Humous okay to have? I'm starving now and want a snack. A lot of my mates say cottage cheese/tuna.
  23. Cheers Geo- you're a legend. What I'm eating just now? Well brace yourself: Breakfast- I usually skip this as I'm always rushing to work Lunch- I used to be really bad and have chicken burgers with cheese and spicy chips but recently stopped eating that too often and started having chicken mayo sandwiches on white bread or grilled cheese and spring onion sandwiches. Now that I've started gym, I'm having tuna with salad (with mayo and cheese- I know, its bad). Snacks wise I am quite bad at times, eating random sweets or Dortios but I'm consciously stopping that now. Dinner- whatever's at home really. Its usually a lot of meat- last night was grilled chicken but it usually is all manner of currys etc. Today I missed breakfast as usual and had to go out for lunch at an Indian restaurant as it was a colleagues birthday. I intend on going gym, maybe having a protein shake before I go- (working on biceps and chest today- did legs and abs yesterday).
