  1. Whilst I disagree with what he's said, the statement isn't that laughable. It could be argued that the USA deployed the atomic bomb to terrify the Japanese in order to effectively stop the war and halt any reprisals. I understand that this wouldn't really fall under the general definition of terrorism we have today.
  2. I had to force down 2 eggs yesterday. Felt weird. My stomach is doing all sorts of weird things- I reckon its because I've changed my diet completely. I'm just living on eggs, tuna, chicken, bananas and green tea now. I feel fresher but I think my body is adjusting. Also, I was doing squats yesterday and I realised that all this time I was using a Barbell attached to a machine and that is apparently not good for squats. So I did squats yesterday without that machine- and man, it was a whole different ball game. My legs felt like jelly. Also, I've gone up to 160kg on the Leg Press (but I think I can push more easily). 10x3 on that, and 10x3 squats. I don't know a decent third workout for legs. I usually do a standing calf raise where you stand on the edge of a step-box with the balls of your feet and have weights either side and raise your feet so you're leaning forward.

  7. Lol I like your style. Mind you, with your build you could get away with it. Some people's lack of respect astounds me. I make an effort to get out of the pump quickly so people behind me aren't kept waiting for long.
  8. See, I don't understand this at all. I'm 26, 3 years ncb, 4 years driving. No convictions/claims and I get process around the £1.8k mark at the lowest. I don't think I'm in a bad post code area so I don't know what to do.

  12. Yeah I am scared I'll do my back in. 6 hours eating purely for deadlift? I don't think I'm in the right frame of mind at all. Nevermind- triceps and shoulders today. Only had a glass of milk and banana for breakfast, 1/2 chicken and veg for lunch, green tea x 2 and gonna have a protein shake before gym.
  13. Holy sheeeet . My mate here at work thinks you're cheating and that the car is on some sort of jack. I'm sure he wouldn't say that to your face lol. So umm...yeah....5 x whatever you guys lift...it all makes sense now....seeing as I deadlift less than half of what you do for a warmup!

  16. Yeah well I'm 26, 3 yrs no claims, no record etc etc and I got quoted £1950 + £3000 excess! (350z)
  17. Sorry if this is a silly question but does the above mean 3 sets of 5 reps squats etc? Surely it can't be just 5 reps of deadlifts unless you're lifting crazy weights?
