  1. You couldn't really see the face of the girl standing up but she looked like she might be much fitter. Still, she was a bit on the rude side. The other girl though lol; "timing!"- complete opposite to the first one.
  2. Nah I don't think so. I have dodgey copy of Windows 7 and Xp lying around at home though.
  3. I tried installing an OS (Windows 7) via usb but it didn't work. Here is what happens: I'm going to have to buy some CDs to copy the OS to and then install the CD drive. It would have been nice to boot the system via usb though.
  4. Have you not instructed solicitors? The price of the house seems too good to be true. Your solicitors will make pre-contract searches and enquiries for you so you at least know what restrictions, charges etc affect the property. You are only purchasing the leasehold title so you won't own the house.
  5. No no. Basically I want to install an OS on the new computer. My brother is currently trying to use a USB to do that. I don't know what will happen if I turn it on; will command prompt come up etc. Really wishing I bought Daman's setup now lol.
  6. Quick question: I want to install an OS on my new PC. Is it possible to boot it up using an ethernet cable attached to my laptop?
  7. Just checking. The PSU (the crap one) has a fan at the bottom. Is that how it should be as opposed next to where the power cable attaches.
  8. Hey guys, I'm just building my pc at the moment (trying). The RAM chips wont slot into the motherboard. Am I to assume I've bought the wrong RAM sticks? They are 240 pin DDR3 RAM sticks and the motherboard is also 240 pin DDR3 compatible. Edit: it works now
  9. That is a CUTE cat. Well done for rescuing the cat.
  10. I think this 'protection system' can work the other way round too. I feel the vast majority of atheists are so because it affirms their lifestyle and the thought of an omnipotent being judging them prompts their disbelief. You seem to be quite objective about it all though which is good, as many others dismiss belief due to the above reason and then contradict themselves whilst going on a tyrade about good vs evil etc (or the whole 'memes' theory). Observe Richard Dawkings and his God Delusion programme- he contradicts himself a lot in that and the programme did really also expose some of his 'motivations' for his non-belief in a diety. Ultimately, saying that belief is just down to this 'comfort/hope factor' is a big generalisation just like my above point (1st para).
  11. Lol and my troll comment has now been proven :d. Like you did in the past, may I add; Epic win
  12. You really need to look up the definition of irony. Why is it ironic of me to say the above? Just let it be? You're the troll that keeps making topics like these basically trying to prompt responses. Then you make silly statements (which is expected of you I understand) leaving me to correct them in case someone might take them seriously. Regardless of your views towards organised religion, can you at least show some respect to the members of follow it? I think its asking too much of you. It actually says a lot about you than it does about the followers of such religion. Religion aside, you just need to be taught some manners really. I've ignored/tolerated your past indiscretions but you just keep on repeating your usual manner. Just show some respect ffs- its not hard. Try it- you might like it.
  13. There's no point in carrying on with this simply because you are so condescending it renders a proper discussion with you useless. There is this thing called respecting other people's beliefs but I guess you can't expect it from everyone, especially those who have the freedom to attribute as much importance as they want to areas such as the latter saying. In any case, I don't want a repeat of the same old so-called 'debate'. Penguin, just let it be.
  14. Its your opinion that its improbable and you misunderstand the basis on our belief. Our belief isn't based on something like Pascal's wager; we don't consider what we believe to be a mere possibility.
  15. I don't really want to turn this to a religious thread but to answer your question, we believe in heaven and hell.
  16. Where's the logic in that? I believe in certain unseen "supernatural" things so I HAVE to believe in ghosts?
  17. I never once thought that of you Daman my man. Also, if Abz gave me his word then I had nothing to worry about. I won't be using the PSU I bought- I'll be looking to buy the ones listed here by ScottM and others. I can't afford to take the risk. SO hopefully it will run for 5 years +!
  18. /facepalm Oh man- I should have come to you. I'm tempted to send the stuff back but it would be such a major headache. Thanks for the help though Daman, I really appreciate it. Now, time to think of ways to torture my brother when I finish work.
  19. Will the surge protector help?? Daman now you tell me! I was SO close to ordering from you, was going to PM you to ask for your number to discuss it on the phone and last minute, my little brother (who it seems I will begin to despise) stopped me. He said the specs on the PC you recommended were inferior so I should go with the list he did. Oh well lesson learnt. Have you got a good PSU for a decent price for sale?
  20. What are you talking about? I said I believe in what others regard as supernatural.
