  1. I'm thinking of new rims for my car, 18x8 front and 18x9.5 rear. What tire width, and profile should i get to fit those. Also are those good rim width?
  2. I see i'll try that if i can't find a spare, the pin5 and 6 you were talking about right?
  3. I see, well its kinda hard since where I am there's about 5 supra in the whole city, finding a spare odometer will be hard.
  4. And is it the odometer you changed or the speedometer also?
  5. I'm not sure if that's the problem, the mechanic told me that old speed sensors uses magnets and it gets "stuck" when they get old, he said he's seen it happen a couple of times. My question is if it is indeed the problem of the speed sensor, would it affect the gear shifting in my autobox trans and would it damage it? Hopefully it isn't the case. And mine has been de-restricted yet.
  6. If anyone knows please tell me, i'm scared to drive the car in case it may damage it
  7. I didnt have any conversion done, we use Km in Canada like in japan. Aparently the wires are fine, they said its the speed sensor that is old and is stuck now.
  8. I recently got a check engine light that came on with a flashing O/D light, the diagnostic said it was a error code 42 for vehicle speed sensor. I check with my toyota dealer and they said I had to change the speed sensor 1. Well I currently don't have the money for it so I was wondering if driving the car for the time being with the error 42 on it will affect the car or damage in in the long term? I have an autobox transmission, will that error affect the gear change and damage the transmission? Thanks in advance!
  9. that would be about 9$ CA dollar, then it really is expensive they asked of it, they asked for 120$ for the door switch
  10. thank you very much. And i'm not ordering from the toyota dealer they way over charge, for a vehicle speed sensor they asked for 386$ + taxes which is roughly 440$ + 180$ to install, all in Canadian dollars.
  11. This is a great webpage, but i have no idea what im looking for lol, all i know is that it lets the car know when you open or close your doors, apparently mine's old and not working properly, so it's affecting my alarm system since it's sometime not registering the door been closing.
  12. I'm looking for a part for my toyota supra 1993, its the pin switch on the door. Does anyone know the number or sku for that part? Thanks
  13. I really need help, any info is appreciated.
