Hi Guys My brother has a UK Supra Turbo and had an EBC fitted. It was fitted before the upgrade to the exhaust. Now a NUR Spec R has been fitted the car seems to be running worse. The idle seems very slightly lumpy and when you accelerate the engine management light comes on at high revs but then goes out once the revs return to normal levels. I need to know if anyone in london is available some time this weekend to set it up for him? I hope that this is the only reason for whats happening but open to any suggestions. I know that a UK supra can boost up to 1.5 bar, unlike the J Spec 1.2 bar. Will the APEXI AVCR and the standard UK Supra ECU be capable of this? My brother was told he would need a piggy back ECU and that the APEXI alone would not do the trick??? He was told that the standard ECU would not be capable of running high (1.5) although the turbos can because they are larger than the Jspec?? Please help as my brother is doing my nut in lol

I'm a newbie too, but have had a supra for 4 years now. One word of advice is to read as much as you can about the various ways you can change the BHP on your car and decide what you want from it. The supra has a fantastic stock engine and requires minor tweaks for a rewarding returns in BHP. One thing is for sure, you will find people who think they know what there doing but don't and there are some who just want to make money from you. Remember when you upgrade one part think about the effect it will have on another standard part. This will avoid you running out of cash and wanting to sell your baby lol enjoy the car it's one hell of a machine...
