First of all, Mighty Car mods are really good fun. Regarding painting it black, then they did not take in consideration, the heat from the engine/radiator. But could be fun to see a real test with a car and dyno.

Hi All. My TT-6 from 1993, has a slighty annoying issue, where the first and second turbo can be a bit lazy to come online. So when driving normally and then give it half/ full throttle, then sometimes you need to "pump" the pedal for the 2nd turbo to start boosting and when pulling away from stop, then the 1st turbo sometimes dont want to boost, and other times it works fine. So I suspect the VSV`s to be faulty or the larger "valve" in the exhaust to sticky. Am I right on this, and could someone please post the Part numbers for the VSV`s. Thanks.

If you roll the Arches at bit, then you can fit 10 in front and 11 in back

And here in Sweden, lots of cars run E85. You can buy at all normal petrol/gas stations. My Saab is a biopower and can run any kind of mix of petrol and E85.

and the worst part is that is a well known garage, that do at lot of special cars ect.

I am still furious over it, but I just hope no damage has been done, thinking of bearings, seals and input shaft that must be spinning quite fast even in 1 gear slow speeds.

Hi All. Had my Supra in for some various small jobs, and 2 of them was to replace gearbox oil / seal and fix a small coolant leak. I had bought Gearbox oil from Opie (2 liters), and then I had bought 2 liters of Toyota 4life Coolant, if the Garage needed it, when fixing the small leak. To my surprise, when I went to pick the car up yesterday, I found the 2 liters of gearbox oil on the backseat, but the coolant was gone, and at that point the Garage had already said, that they did not use any coolant, but had changed the Gearbox oil. So what the garage by mistake do?... Put 2 liters of coolant in my gearbox, as the mechanic thought it was gearbox oil. I was of course very angry, and the Garage owner quickly got the car on the lift again and emptied out the coolant and put in 2 liters of gearbox oil, and ran the car on the lift through the gears and then again drained the gearbox and put new oil in it again. They will pay for a gearbox oil change again, start of next week, once I get more oil from Opie oil. So the question is really, has the gearbox taken any damage from: 1. Having coolant in it around 15-20 hours 2. Possible have been run for 40-50 meters to park it (was pushed inside, when the mistake was discovered) Thanks.

There always in different mags big tests of all the current brand name tires. Should be quite easy to find one, and they test all kind of Things normally. I run Bridgestone RE050 and they have lasted 25.000 km so far, but are due to be changed start of next season
