    NA-T Guys

Hi Guys Was wondering which ecu the NA-T guys are using ? And whether you are auto or manual would be helpful . Cheers Roy
  3. Was wondering which diffuser it was ?
  4. Have watched this from the beginning and loved every minute ! Look forward to see how you get on and the end result !
  5. Thats what I was thinking . When is enough ,enough ! Is a power thing or a money thing ? Does spending loads of money on a project reduce the fun of it ?
  6. You right Geo the new GTR is an amazing Car . But you need deep pockets ! Went for a drive in a friends loved it but with it still being so new modifying costs a fortune . He just spent almost £2000 on tyres . he likes a track day or 2 and the car is still a few quid . Maybe in years to come
  7. Hi Guys I was wondering why the trend has changed !!! People seem to be building some amazing machines, then getting to the end of the project and either breaking or thinking about selling them !!! If you think 6-12 months ago how many amazing cars we had on here and then broken or sold ! Jay's car sold , Johnny G broken , Jamie's broken , Geo's black sold ( he's back in a new one , Yippee ) , Jamesy grey broken ( Ok upgrade to doluck car ) , Amir's breaking, Steve L broken . Ibar talking about selling . Why not build a car to enjoy for years to come . Think it's a world gone mad !!!
  8. You right if you have spare cash , the time is now to build a gr8 car at a fraction of the cost it should be ! I'm with you buying top end brand second hand car parts is loads better , for peace of mind more than anything else ! However spare cash for cars isn't always easy to get hold of ESP if you have children ! So for me it's still all about balancing what I can afford to obtain the maximum enjoyment !
  9. You miss the point ! I don't want to pour shed loads of cash Into a car ! finding in 5/6 years it owes me silly money ! i dont have the spanner ability like Hodge ! So when you add labour costs into building a car with top end parts the bills grow quickly !Rob you are lucky , you use it to promote your business ! I would hate to think the money that has gone into your car ! To make it the amazing car it is ! I'm not saying don't do it if you can afford it ! But don't feel guilty if you can't !
  10. For me it has to be a balance ! I will get the best( most reliable ) I can afford at the time ! I dont want to feel guilty for buying a cheaper part because i can afford the expensive/branded part . I also don't want my car owing me £30 000 .
  11. I enjoy reading these threads . Such a difference of option . There are two sides people who have loads of money to spend and those who don't !! Yes it's nice to buy top end parts but some just cant afford it ! Does spending £30000 mean you enjoy your supra more than someone who spends £5000 , I'm not so sure ! Yes peace of mind counts for a lot but at what stage does that make financial sence ! There has been a few threads on here where some of the BEST Supra have had to be broken for the owners to make some of there money back , sad times ! Not many people want to spend 30-40 thousand on a 20 year old car . ESP when you start getting close to GTR money . So surely there is a balance between buy good parts and cheaper parts ! Enjoying your car doesn't depend on how much money you spend ! Chasing huge numbers and spending huge amounts of money is more about ego than enjoyment , I think ! We all spend what we can afford to obtain the maximum amount of enjoyment !!! That's why we have these cars ! To drive ,enjoy and bring a huge smile to our own faces ! I can't spend what Jamie did , I can't do what Hodge can do ! But I can enjoy it just as much !
  12. Perfect ! Some good news ! Can't believe you could even consider it ! The car is AWESOME !
  13. Such a nice clean car . I'm looking forward to your progress !!!!
  14. Hi Guys I was wondering if you guys could help . I'm looking for a part no's for left and right glass headlights . Thank you for you time Cheers Roy
  15. Good luck to the new owner ! The Envy car and do-luck cars are part of the furniture around here . Long may that continue ! Even better still they are both still on British shores

Cool so many options. Nic when you say moderate boost , how much is safe on stock compression ? Is there any advantage using a divided manifold over non ? Nic have sent you a couple of pm's if you get the chance

  18. Any news on the big fella . Hope he's ok
  19. So if the TT hg is 1.6mm . How thick is the NA hg?
  20. So when changing to TT pistons which size head gasket is best to use ?
  21. Hey Buddy . have you tried Ibar . Surely he is the man who would help get this sorted, if not himself will know who has them .

    NA-T Boys

Hi Guys Was wondering what set ups you are running and what to avoid ? Manifold , Turbo , ecu , injectors ? If you have changed to TT pistons what size h/gasket ? Greddy blue or ultimate ? Does the blue offer the same features as ultimate ? Can you run to boost setting and use a toggle switch to flip between them ? Thanks for your time
  25. Have to agree ,to low for me . But it looks good . I'm binning me hsd's and going back to Bilstein with std springs . Chris has lowered them 15mm all round . Should be a lot better
