  1. Seriously Impressive Track Car this one…….!!!
  2. Well here are a choice few of the snaps covering the day. Taken at 0415hrs at Sainsbury’s Plymouth waiting for some of the Southwest Members to arrive (Barney & Wile e) boy we were early and as you can see my car was clean to start with lol!!!! Monster engine in this one was a Mazda RX7 Rotary Twin Turbo (turbo’s were huge) overfueling a treat too, and so loud you would not believe!!
  3. Just like to say thanks to everyone involved in the preparation in the lead up to the event very well organised, and to Lui for arranging the tickets and logistics many thanks to you all! How many actually went in the end do we have any official numbers? As for the Southwest Group another brilliant convoy up, (thanks Wile e for leading the way!) always love the convoy. Sorry I left prematurely at the end, but had to get to the Exeter Services at least for a chill had a major migrane just had to go apologies for that. At least we all met again there before saying our final good byes!! Myself and my brother had a brilliant time laped the track twice (by foot), and visited all the clubs and stands loads to see. Took 164 pictures (Just me) and some video too, so will look into selecting some choice shots for posting. Didn't really get a chance to talk to many other club members, but the lure of the track action for me was too much!!! Will make up for it next time...... I promise Looking forward to seeing the video from the RS Focus owner of the convoy up should be a good one that!!! Roll on the sun for next time
  4. Saw a rather nice looking Bronze I believe Supra with a UK Bonnet Scoop heading towards the City Centre on the embankment opposite the Texco garage today! Looked sweet.........with some really nice wheels too!!! Made my day .........how sad hey ha.
  5. Sounds like a good laugh this, hope they aren't to body weight dependant 1 Blackie 2 Karolina 3 Patrikbrunt 4 SupraDan 5 Lee 6 DodgyRog 7 Wile e Coyote 8 barneybrendan 9 Fearless 10 Edge 11. Pudsey
  6. What sizes are your wheels as they appear to sit inboard the arches on your car, are yours rolled? I have the same in 18's, but mine are catching and don't look like they are under the arches like yours! Apparently the offset on mine are 40 front and 35 rear, but boy the wheels on the back are close to the arches. Always great to benchmark wink wink...........>
  7. ........................................................................................Lacoste, Thanks for the input always great to hear more opinions on the matter, and raised a question I didn't think of too. Paul, I figured that all coilovers were adjustable on the car, but obviously these isn't the case!!! How strange when this is what they are made for hey! I really like the Nitrons, I am assuming that you can fully adjust these on the car, and they are made of very good quality parts too. What sort of deal can you do on them? and that would be to my door with everything I need to complete the job! Thanks
  8. Have some pictures! But no dates on the pictures themselves, however the files do have the taken/ downloaded dates on them. If it helps let me know, and I can supply them! Good luck and how strange I must say hey!
  9. I did drive a 6 speed with Teins on it seemed very good from what I could remember, wasn't that harsh either seeing as they were coilovers too! Thanks for the info buddy! Will help me make a rounded judgement on the decision if you get my drift........>
  10. Oh yeah, I did have Bilsteins on my AMG C43. They were fitted from new by AMG and I agree to be honest they were very good. I assume that Bilstein do a coilover then, will have a lill look..........> Thanks for the advice buddy.
  11. I have looked at the website and it doesn't list a Toyota Supra, obviously we must be able to get them as you would not have suggested it else. If they are made with stainless steel etc then I can understand the cost implications of that, they do look very nice indeed!! What particular kit would you suggest then for the Supra, remembering it will be used on the road and some particular streets can be pretty rough too. Wouldn't want to loose a wheel if you get my drift ha. What would be the very best price we could do on these, guess it unlikely people would do a group buy on these puppies!
  12. Ha.........yeah I went sensible with the wheels as to maintain proper handling and some kind of refined ride too. I find myself dodging every bump in the road at the moment, so sounds like things will get a whole lot worse when I throw some coilovers on there!! Thanks for the advice, always good to hear other people experiences!
  13. That's a big wedge £1400 quid odd. Whats so good about these coliovers compared to other on the market. Are these Stainless Steel threads etc?
  14. Very helpful write up there buddy! Car looks great too, what a nice stance it has. Im looking into some coilovers at the mo, and will bare in mind your experience for sure with the HSD's
  15. eggcellent......> Many Thanks Shall have a good read, looks like he has experienced some similiar problems abiet in reverse lol. Looks good!
  16. The wheels are 18's buddy. I have solved the rubbing by rolling the arches myself. Was only catching very slightly, but enough to wreck the tyres pushed to many times if you get my drift. Just think the suspension requires changing as must be traveling alot in my opinion. Small wheels would be the cleapest answer for sure, might put my standard 16's back on lol!!
  17. I did look for this thread, but couldn't find it! Someone did mention it before.......> HSD's never heard of them
