    Advice appreciated

Excellent example of the type of things your up against. You certainly need to be open minded, and keep those eyes peeled too. NB: Lbm....... Great work there, you do make me laugh
  9. Yeah I personally think so too. So hard to find in the right offset though (Second hand of course).
  10. Pretty sure they are: - Blitz Technospeed Z2's. Someone on the forum was selling some a while back, don't think there were any takers. Believe the gentleman was based in Denmark, searched for the thread but couldn't pull it up sorry. Hope this helps...... Advice appreciated

I went virtually all the way around the country looking at Supra's, when I was buying mine. I even made an over night stay up in Bradford to visit all the traders around that part of the country, purely to take a look at as many Supra's as I could. I didn't see one car I would spend my money on, some of the roughest cars I have ever seen to be truthful. Especially seeing as some of them over the phone were all quoted as being immaculate, one even had masking tape under the doors where it had seen a blow over the skirts(nice and tidy hey....). You pay's your money and take's your chance's at the end of the day, but the vast majority of peoples opinions as well as mine is best to steer clear. My advice would be to do as much research as possible (as you are), see as many Supra's as you can too, you will know then when you see the right car that way. Best of luck........
  12. Congratulations on the result Lee. Hopefully you will get some enjoyment out of the car now, you must be grinning from ear to ear.

Welcome to the Club. Sounds like you have had a bit of bad luck. All the best with finding the bits your require, I am sure you will pick them up easy enough through the Club.
  14. Welcome to the Club. Nice looking Supra there bit different from the norm, in a really nice colour too.
  15. Great to see you up and running, you certainly didn't hang about either really considering your bad luck. Your car sounds awsome in those short video's, I so love that chatter noise sounds so dirty....ha Bet it sounds wicked in the car too, well done indeed!!
  16. Ingenious It will certainly come in very handly for anyone else who decides to build one following along the same sort of lines as you have. Top effort though, always more than one way to skin a cat isn't there.
  17. Looking better now Barney..... all nice and sparkly. The mounting for the charger looks good, almost like factory from the front position. The charger unit should also get plenty of cold air passing around it too, at the lower end of the engine bay. Liking the improvised tool, called thinking on your feet that one ha.
  18. I have never personally ever heard any noises from my engine at all, ignition on engine off or engine on idling. Sometimes its so quiet stood outside by it, that you can't even tell its actually running at all. Can't say I have ever sat with the car turned off pushing the throttle though, surely this doesn't do anything any good (unless your fault finding of course). So no noises fom me.

    new here!

    Welcome to the Club.......
  20. Thanks for the reply on the thread. I can see how it has become very technical reading the thread from start to finish. 3rd gear ceiling is 130mph cricky..... Its a shame that the car has this niggle, if I ever see that sort of speed I will definately be gentle with the throttle.

    New from Spain :D

Hello there Troy, Wecome to the Club. Some great pictures there, really nice looking 'RX-7' you have there, always liked the shape of those cars. Are you looking for a Supra for an engine transplant into your 'RX-7', or another separate project? In either case 'Welcome In'.
  22. Hi there on9, Welcome to the Club. I like the picture I can see, which looks like the after one. Can't see any graphics anywhere though, nice colour though too. Be great to see some more pictures of your car in and around Hong Kong, makes an excellent back drop I bet.
  23. I don't have any issues with the active spolier or the traction control that I am aware of, but the thought of a massive kickdown sounds a little worrying. Guess that's what the speed limits are for, still interested in whether this has been fully resolved though. NB: Certainly interested to find out what type I have fitted, now I have seen this thread.
  24. Great looking car, awesome colour too. Wouldn't mind seeing the colour in the flesh, bet the sun bounces off it a treat when it comes out.
