    Hello!

Hello and welcome Great to see a few pics, always nice in white. Just in time for summer
  2. Congratulations on the sale. I am sure your going to miss it
  3. Looking forward to that Absolutely crazy prices. I guess that’s why this is being taken on as a repair then.
  4. I bet your glad you have seen the back of all that work. Sounds like it's been a nightmare. Congratulations on getting the car back on the road.
  5. How about ford electric green. Family once had a KA in that colour, always looked good and different too. Found online: - http://ipocars.com/imgs/a/f/i/a/j/ford__ka_1_3i_cat_d4_futura_air_conditioning_low_km_2000_1_lgw.jpg
  6. Cricky big commitment money wise, cars must be expensive in the USA. Fingers crossed all goes well with the next check. I am sure we are all looking forward to any updates on what they think they need to do with the repair.
  7. Are you doing any of the work yourself? Or are you having to pay people to complete all the work. Surely it’s going to cost big money isn’t it? Are tidy cars very expensive in the states, or is it more you fancied a project.
  8. Welcome to the club. Nice looking standard car you have there, I am sure you will enjoy working through. Lovely VS's on the MK 3.
  9. Only other simple check I can think of. Check wheels. Measure the inner alloy wheel back space, to make sure the wheels aren’t different. Check brake discs. Measure the front brake disc hub section, to make sure they are both the same. Quick and easy for you to do, just to rule those potentials out.
  10. There is castor adjustment on the front wheels, from memory. Perhaps the alignment set up is off? I’d get the tape measure out, and check from side to side too.
  11. Great thread - enjoyed the read. Surprised you have gone single so quickly, but great play with the lock down as a good excuse to tinker Looking forward to the next update, and seeing what you think of the turbo kit. Keep up the excellent work
  12. Cricky. Looks like the windscreen has pushed down under the roof slightly. Pretty serious impact that, being the front chassis area bending. Look forward to seeing how this develops. NB: What a shame just seen the pre accident image. Looked super clean before. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?357816-Hi-everyone-!!&p=4319742#post4319742
  13. Thats the best one I remember detail wise, couldn't find it yesterday. Great find
  14. https://www.importavehicle.info/2017/09/toyota-supra-buyers-guide-jdm-vs-usdm.html There’s a table on this web page, which gives you the build numbers by year. VVT-I was introduced as per the table, so your build number will need to be equal to or after that displayed for vvt-i. Late models lost the E designation, and gained GF at the start designating frame number. This is displayed right at the start of the numbering system. Obviously, as mentioned you would want to see an ‘F’ for a 6 speed in the number. Another set of code detail for drive train can be seen here. http://www.toyota-supra.info/forums/mkiv-supra/14011-vin-number.html Ultimately, 6 speed will be v160 (non vvt-i) or v161 (vvt-i). Hope that helps
  15. Hello there, from across the pond. Two Supra projects can't wait to see some pictures of progress. Good luck with them.
  16. Welcome in. Congratulations on your purchase, sounds really nice. Can't wait to see some pictures, Switzerland I believe is a lovely place I have been told.
  17. Great project thread. Looking forward to the update. Some great work so far, bet you can’t wait to get it on the road.
  18. Still available. Will post if required, but you will need to pay for the service.
  19. Hi there great to see an update after so long. Looking at your post#60 the disc has been put on the wrong side of the car. The sweeps/ slots are suppose to go from the outside of the disc edge, sweeping forward (towards front of car), in towards the hub with direction of travel. If you put them on backwards they will get ruined pretty damn quickly.

    Hey all!

    Hello and welcome.
  21. Just for the record I also believe the auto would make a better job of it, with much less hassle. That's coming from someone who drives like a grandad. ie. me
  22. https://www.goo-net-exchange.com/usedcars/TOYOTA/SUPRA/700957070930200410001/index.html 32k plus import and taxes. T51r though 6 speed, would sound awesome.
