  1. I have dropped out as I just feel with weighing up everything I will be better buying another car rather than spending £15k on getting the big twins, and going 6 speed too. Will I have no doubt regret it, but I am big enough to stand up and say I have made a mistake biting off more than I can chew me thinks. I have no doubt this won't hang around. Apologies everyone.
  2. Jurgen is a top bloke, and I feel really bad messing him around. I have dropped out as I just feel with weighing up everything I will be better buying another car rather than spending £15k on getting this and the big twins in too. Will I have no doubt regret it, but I am big enough to stand up and say I have made a mistake biting off more than I can chew me thinks. I have no doubt this will be gone within the hour again.
  3. Can I have dibbs pending the twin conversion too. Will head up this evening, as soon as I get your reply Jurgen. You have PM.
  4. Doing some 'Awesome' work there Stuart (for want of a better word.... I know you will get that even if no one else does). The car is even better in the flesh, I could have spent hours looking at it. Certaining aww inspiring, I too can't wait to see you up and running........... do you need a camera man for this one too? wink wink.....
  5. Does anyone have any information on the Greddy TD05 Twin Turbo kit. From what I can gather for the 2JZ we need the TD05-16G Turbos, but I can't seem to find any information on it. I have checked out the car thread that Paul Whiffin recently had in, and that of Jurgen too for the original Wangan car sale, but none of this tends to shed much light on the kit itself. Greddy no longer list it, so is this really old? I need to know if this will specifically fit a VVT-i variant. Anyone who can help out, it will would be greatly appreicated. Links already found: - Paul Whiffins thread. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=211160&highlight=greddy+td05 Jurgen http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=201540&highlight=greddy+td05 Actual owner’s car project thread. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=209598&highlight=greddy+td05
  6. If these fit a VVT-i and its the complete kit everything you need kit wise. I will have them, so guess thats dibbs to me . Pending making sure they will fit the application, you can prove they are in working order dyno graph, and the price includes delivery?

    hi to all

    Hello there welcome in.
  8. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=204780&highlight=blitz+technospeed This might help you has some pictures too. Had to ask for help when I was looking at buying a set.

    Thunder Road!

Good luck to everyone attending....... Certainly wish you all the best of luck, and a safe return too.
  11. Yeah, upon reflection and reading your research into the comment I 'sweepingly' made, I agree with what you are saying as a plausable reason for the failure. I have no doubt that the Race Logic System has been thoroughly researched and designed, and shouldn't cause a lean cylinder suituation. Everyone would hope anyway. Ah thanks Paul that does make a difference then. Is anyone interested in getting this going again? (Displaying complete confidence in the system). -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NB: After returning from a ride in a 657.7bhp supra today, I have experienced the benefits of the system first hand. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=212831 Awesome piece of kit this is, no other word for it.
  12. Great to see you had a good day in the end. Woke up to rain and a general dull day, so thought it would be the same up in Bristol. Saved a few quid on tyres though I bet...... would be the only bonus more ready for next time.
  13. I am sure that everyone will keep there ears to the ground. Bas$~rds..... bet you can't wait to get you hands on them. Bet you were getting ready for the drift day too......... needless to say bet it wasn't a joy with the news you were greeted with this morning. Sorry to hear your bad news buddy.
  14. Just looking around and came across these wheels thought they looked rather nice, not sure what they will look like on a supra though. What do you think? Anyone had any experience at all?
  15. Can the prices be revised or updated? Perhaps it was the time of year, and some people switching to aftermarket ECU's that have the function built in has given many people the thought of saving there money till the next up grade. Definately interested in the benifits of the system, didn't like the way it cooked Jevensio's engine though. From the RACELOGIC website: - RLTC6AL Adjustable Traction Control (6 Cyl) + Launch Control ABS £595 RLTC6DIAW Adjustable Traction Control (6 Cyl) + Launch Control + Digital Adjuster (TCWSSSET required) £695 Add-on Options Price TCDIA Digital Adjuster £180 So when you add it all up there is £2.85 variance, granted you have postage included though must say. Just not enough to tempt people me thinks just saving postage.
  16. My Ebay sales thread just incase anyone is interested: - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300408864403&_trkparms=tab%3DSelling This sale is for: - Mercedes Benz (MB v7.4) Carsoft Diagnostics Tools and Software Package. Including: - (USB 2.0 to RS232 9-Pin & 25-Pin Serial Port Adaptor with Software). This provides you with everything you need to diagnose problems/ fault find on your Mercedes-Benz at home with the use of a PC, rather than pay expensive rates at the dealer. Reason for Sale: - I bought this tool in Feb 2009 as the picture above displays to service my Mercedes-Benz W202 - C43 AMG, prior to putting it up for sale. I ended up part exchanging the car with a dealer prior to the sevice indicator coming on, and hence never used the tool for purpose I bought it for. None of the leads have been taken out of the bags they came in, so nothing has been connected at all physically as never been used. I did load the software to my PC and set everything up, which gave me the opportunity to look through the package and options etc. (Drop down windows similiar to Work or Excel very easy to use). It was never tested as you need to connect the leads and R232 Module to the cars ECU, OBD 2 Port to pull through information etc. Where I bought the package: - The package was purchased from UK-CAR-DIAGNOSTICS for the sum of £97 (Including postage Recorded Mainland UK) I purchased the USB 2.0 to Serial Port Connector and Leads from Ebay for £10 (Including postage Standard Rate Mainland UK). As far as I can be aware the package is in working order its all new as discribed, just I have never actually used it to be able to confirm completely. What you will get exactly as pictured above: - 1 x Mercedes-Benz (v7.4 MB) Carsoft Diagnostics Package as supplied by UK-CAR-DIANOSTICS in Feb 2009. Software Leads x 5 (OBD 2 - 38 Pin and 14 Pin leads) and Instructions 1 x CD for loading to PC, is all contained on the CD provided by the original supplier in a handy purpose designed storage bag supplied. Software will work on Microsoft XP, 2000, ME, 98, Windows NT. 1 x USB 2.0 to R232 Serial Port adaptor (9-Pin & 25-Pin) with 1 x Software CD for multiple computer applications as above. The Mercedes Range it will work with: - The Mercedes-Benz Package lists the following Mercedes-Benz cars, so its fully compatible. Personal Cars. W168 (A-CLASS), R170 ( SLK), W208 (CLK),W209 (CLK), W202 (C-CLASS). W203 (C-CLASS), W210 (E-CLASS, W211 (E-CLASS), W140 (S-CLASS), W220/W215 (S-CLASS), R129 (SL), R230 (SL) Commercial. VITO-(V-CLASS), SPRINTER. Off Road Vehicles. G463, W163 The above are all listed within the software showing what the package covers, so virtually all the range up to 2008. Functions of the software and capabilities: - I have written down all of the functions on the within the drop down menus below, and have taken some screen grabs I can email if necessary copied into a Word Document. This will be for your information only, I will not enter into dialog outside of the Ebay rules( So all questions/ comments directed back through Ebay please). Digital Diagnosis. Complete Diagnosis Option.(So runs a systems check) Lists :- HFM/PMS, ME, MSM, DFI, CDI, LH ENGINE 104/119, LH ENGINE 120, ABS/ASR/ETS, TRACTION/ESP, AIRBAG, BAS, SAM, HRA, DCM, ESA, EGS, AIRMATIC/ABC, AIRCO, PSE, PTS, OCP, LCP, UCP, D2B, ELS, RVS, AAM, EAM, KG, SBC, FFZ/FBB, VD, INSTRUMENT CLUSTER. Error Erase Codes for the above listing. Analogue Diagnosis: - As above and includes the same error erase functions. Special Functions: - Service Reset, Service Interval Adjustment, Live Data Coding, Active Adaption Erase, CDI Injector Test. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I would suggest that I have been as honest and descripive as humanly possible with this sale, certainly more so than when I even purchased the package. Posting and Packaging: - I will package the items carfully and securely in a water proof membraine, wrapped tightly with fragile tape. I will be sending the items by Recorded Delivery to the UK Main Land Only in the price indicated. (Anything else will require additional fees and postage check on my part to ensure everything is covered, but you will pay I am affraid). Price: - You will pay the packaging and posting as indicated, and also my Ebay fees will be included the sale price. I will be setting a reserve price as you can clearly see what it cost me, but you will get a bargain there is no doubt. Happy Bidding.................. Any Questions at all or anything I can help with please ask. I will endevour to answer all questions as accurately as possible to the limits of my technical (enthusiast's) ability. Thanks for looking.
  17. Cricky I can see why they wouldn't want the event there anymore. Bloody Chav's.......
  18. Excellent stuff will certainly take a peek when you gt them up, hopefully I can see them at work.
  19. Hi ya Suprahuman, Any chance of some pictures of the alloys buddy. They do sound really nice.
  20. Oh right, definately serious then. I did just check the complete thread through only looked at the first couple pages before, 30 cars tuning out then. Shame it doesn't declare what they actually are though. Definately would have to be ultra careful then, saying that I have that written on my underpants so I should be okay. Yeah, it will be good if it does take off, no idea why Weston Wheels doesn't happen any more, was it due to silly people attending? You definately don't see anything much like this down this way, your right Lee for sure.
  21. That sounds good nothing worse than standing out in the cold is there, but as far as your aware its a organised event then. What do you think the turn out will be just locals or?
  22. Is anyone planning on going to this one? Dunno what the weather is going to be like, sounds like it is a few youths in the car park. But surely its a proper staged and arranged event isn't it. This Saturday 20th March Weston Super mare.
