  1. Well I really have no idea what they are worth. Pads cost me £136.86 on the 24/04/2009, and the car has only done 3,000 dry miles through the summer and then dry stored for the winter. They really are as good as new, obviously I can't check the insides but you know I mean. £250 ...... thats £62.50 a corner for a full brake set up with excellent pads, what do you think got to be a bargain hasn't it. Would cost anyone that for a set of new decent pads........
  2. I have for sale very very good condition J Spec Brakes from my 1998 R Reg Twin Turbo. When I got my car the brakes looked like new, everything was factory with stickers and everything still in place. The brakes were poor in my opinion, but I did come out of an AMG Mercedes with Monster Brakes. I immediately purchased a set of EBC Red Stuff Pads have a good experience with Green Stuff in the past with another car. The brakes did improve a great deal, but are still not quiet good enough in my opinion for the Twin Turbo at speed. The brake pads are still very thick and cost me well over £130 for the set, will find the receipt have in my file. So for sale ..... 2 x Front Discs 'excellent condition' with no lip what so ever. 2 x Front J Spec Front Calipers 'excellent condition'. Set of EBC Red Stuff pads to suit above (only covered 3,000 mile if that), never used in the rain. 2 x Rear Discs 'excellent condition' with no lip what so ever. 2 x Rear Calipers 'excellent condition' Set of EBC Red Stuff pads to suit above (only covered 3,000 mile if that), never used in the rain. I will add some pictures in a moment as soon as I load them up. Thanks for looking. NB: You will pay any postage if you cannot collect, and Pay Pal fees too if you choose to pay in that way. This would be a great way of replacing tired units without incurring a massive expense associated with other upgrades.

Ah ha great to meet you Natalie, I have spotted you a few times, next time make sure you stop and say hello, always great to have a natter to fellow owner.
  5. Apologies all for again replying in the FAQ's section, forgot where I was Mod's please tidy up if you could thanks. I have just found this information which looks priceless in an old thread, linked to Supraforums for VVT-I owners: - http://www.supraforums.co.uk/vbb/showpost.php?p=2073483&postcount=13 Tracing some of the wires it actually details a 'Creamy White' wire, in all honesty didn't think mine had faded as they look like brand new. Only thing I can't see in there is the ABS wiring diagram. Great find though, and really great of someone somewhere to post the diagrams up. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update: - ABS..... Just found the ABS Too, it is on the diagram. Wires are detailed as follows: - Orange = ABS Blue/ Orange = Front Left Wheel Sensor Yellow/ Red = Front Right Wheel Sensor Purple/ White = Rear Left Wheel Sensor Grey/ Red = Rear Right Wheel Sensor As soon as I can I will try and install this after work tomorrow, and see what happens. I just don't have a R232 Cable to be able to plug my laptop into though, so hope I don't need it? ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update: - Just also spotted on the diagram the following in the top right hand corner: - *1 except S-ABS *2: S-ABS These show two differing PIN numbers based on what type you have I guess? ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update: - Ah ha..... Light bulb moment...... The difference between the two above ie (*1 & *2) is 'P' and 'R' plugs, and there is the problem solved reference the 11 pin plug and the 13 pin plug as previously mentioned in the 'Nasty Boy' thread. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update: - The plot thickens too as I have just spotted that if you have the (*1) version there are two plugs and the ABS wires are split. Thought it was strange that the diagram labelled two wires as No 6, but if you look carefully you will see 4 wires go to plug 'P', and there is a single wire again called No 6 and that goes to plug 'q'. The plugs are named on the wiring diagram as being 'Creamy White' so that explains the wire colour too. Hope this come in very helpful for others as it certainly has for me.
  6. Ah yes I think you probably are right there. I will see how I get on as I couldn't do anymore today as it was wet here, never bring it out in the rain. Hopefully be able to get at it tomorrow.
  7. Great stuff thanks for the advise, but I still have a wiring not displayed the 'white' one. I will just have to do things the hard way and check the sensors me thinks. Thanks for your help.

    Gutted - rip tnt

Sorry to hear your news, you must be absolutely gutted to say the least. Road Tax what a joke........
  10. Thanks Ian, And a big thankyou for producing the other excel file that matches my wiring, was a little worried until I scrolled down and found your file. Great work indeed.
  11. Can anybody recommend a R232 Cable to usb adaptor that actually works? I will need this to connect my racelogic to the pc, I know some can be problematic.
  12. Ah thanks for looking..... This is what isn't clear see, and I dont want to mess it up. The only other thing that isn't quiet right is I have no 'white wire' thinking it was heading to number 3 on 'Nicky Boys' write up, mine is definately a off yellow colour?
  13. Thanks for getting back to me. I don't see where the injectors are matched to any specific signal wire. I know that which ever one you choose has to be linked with the correct one coming out of the Racelogic, but I am not sure if for example if. Race logic (Red wire) ----> Injector 1 (Red/ Blue wire)------> Race logic (Red with black wire) ----------> back into the signal wire for Injector 1 (Red/Blue wire). And so on..... What I am not sure of is does each wire have to have a specific injector wired to it, or can you choose any as long as you match them in and out? Thanks Please see this: - http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?p=2740569#post2740569 I found out that mine is the same as 'Nicky Boys', posted in wrong place though sorry. (NB: Only thing with this one , is I don't have a 'white' wire that he refers too only a 'yellow off' colour). and my injector colours match the ones found in the following post 12 Ian C: - http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=35919&highlight=ecu+pin
  14. Can somebody answer me a question that I cannot seem to find the answer too. When you install the Race Logic does any of the fuel injector wires need to go to specific injectors. Or is it okay as long as it picks up any signal wire to the injectors? On the wheel sensor connection front...... There seems to be some differences with the abs sensor wires too. I have researched the diagrams and threads and have found one set that I believe match my wire colours except for one? One thing that isn't specified though however.... Do the abs sensors have to go to particular wires in the Race Logic, or can it go to any? Any help will be great. My car is a 1998 VVT-i auto tiptronic. Many Thanks
  15. Is there anyone that can make this a little more straight forward. I have just been trying to fit the Race Logic into my car, and none of the wires match above. Do we have an expert in our mix........... ie... Does the abs wires have to go to specfic wheels, or will any do as long as they are abs wires. The thing that is confusing me is that my ecu is the same as the one right at the top as explained by 'Nicky Boy'. I don't have any white wire he refers too, but i do have a yellow one? The other thing is that the fuel injectors no1 and no2 have the same colour signal wires red and blue? Hopefully someone will have some ideas. Oh my car is a 1998 VVT-i Tiptronic too.
  16. This is exactly how I wired it up, but still no joy. We will double check the wires to the specific injector pins tomorrow, just to double check against the wiring diagram we now have. Then go from there, very strange as it looks on the face of it as though everything is wired in correctly to the diagram I have managed to check a couple of hours ago. Any other advise would be great. Would the increase in injector size, and a spark plug change to TT plugs be affecting this? Remember this hasn't been mapped with a cold start capability as it stands?
  17. You have PM regarding the skirts, buddy await your reply.
  18. Thanks for the replys. Kinda answers my question really, better off storing them than selling them. Thanks anyway.
  19. Spotted this morning at 0915-20hrs. Silver/ Grey Supra with out a spoiler smooth as you like look. Heading towards Saltash top round about, forgot the name of it though.
  20. I am toying with the idea of selling my interior which can only be discribed as immacluate. Its a facelift 1998 interior in a really nice colour scheme too. What do we think the set would be worth, any ideas?
