  1. Not to hi jack the Wilkies thread, but I am on Windows XP. So not that new really.
  2. I have the same problem. Well sort of. I have a new pc with a brand new usb to serial port adaptor, and the thing stll won't work. Does any one have any experience of actually being able to use a usb to serial port for Race Logic. Surely someone has done this before no? As ever any help would be greatly appreciated.
  3. Has any body else had problems with the USB to Serial Port connection. Mine doesn't want to play. Is there anything in the settings that can be changed to get the computer talking to the Race Logic Box. The error code I keep getting is as follows: - Access Violation at address 0049074C in module ‘Traction_MKII.exe’. Read of address 000000A0. I am in contact with Terminator, who hopefully will be able to help. Just thought I would ask the question. Thanks in advance for any help or advice.
  4. I am having to significantly modify my original arches to fit my wheels. I guess it all depends on the offset of your wheels to start with, and I am no expert at this sort of thing. As you increase the width of the tyre, the side wall increases as a % of the width. So you need to do some research for sure to make sure they will go on okay. I am sure someone on here has tried a set of tyres in the size you desire at some time or another. Hopefully, they will be along shortly to aid a helping hand.
  5. Postage will be £40.00. So all in the price will be £290.00 Thanks for the interest and for looking........................
  6. I have seen the following, but close enough to get the plates though: - 1 x Silver Supra on Thursday, Location - Deer Park Drive, Plymouth. 1 x Black Supra with UK Bonnet Scoop Friday (Today), Location - Eggbuckland Road, Plymouth
  7. Apologies. These SOLD last Weekend. Thanks for the interest.
  8. Absolutely fantastic to see it running buddy. Can't wait to hear you coming down the road, be a bit different to driving your van. Then you will be truly smiling ear to ear.
  9. Some sun on the horizon at last. Over joyed that you discovered what the problem is buddy. Sounds like you will be up and running for set up in the not to distant future. Game on hey......>
  10. Dropped you a line, certainly interested in a spare just in case.
  11. Can someone answer me this, as there seems to be some differences of opinion. I am BPU'ing my 1998 VTT-i Twin Turbo. I need to know if I need a Fuel Cut Defender or not. If I don't fit it and run the car without it will it get damaged? Any advice would be appreciated and is rather urgent due to attending Japfest tomorrow.

    Japfest - Help

My car is now a two seater Currently stripped too.
  13. I will have to drop the price to £600 pounds. I have just come to look at fitting my new wheels, and the nuts I require are the same as the ones that I was selling with these. Unfortunately, I am now going to have to keep the Nut and Security Set to allow things to roll this weekend. So you will now need to secure 60 degree chamfer Seat 'Nut Set' to fit these wheels. Even better if you already have a set.
  14. Great stuff, Didn't realise there were two bolts, will give that a go. The tensioner is all wound off, but its still stuck firm. I hear a very loud bang on its way
  15. I have the same problem. Finding it very hard to get the rear discs off.
  16. As ever I will be there. Lets hope the weather is kind to us
  17. Cheers Buddy, Yes these are still available, ready to go to a new home I can bring these to JAPFEST if anyone wants to pick them up there if thats any easier.
  18. Thanks... Ah thats good news it flows enough. Its in a supra hanger too? I got it all second hand, suppose to be new only few thousand miles. Don't like the idea the part number doesn't match a Supra though. Do you know what it fits? or is proper too. I was told by another member I need a Walbro GSS 342.
  19. Hi All hope you are all having a good weekend so far, Does anyone know if this fuel pump is acceptable for BPU on a J Spec Twin Turbo 1998 Supra. I have hunted the search and the internet, and can't find what this pump is specific to part number wise. I basically need to know if I need to buy another pump for BPU, or can I run the car not at full boost with the standard one before I change it? Any help will be appreciated as ever
  20. Yeah that's the one I saw in the paper. Might be handy for someone.
  21. This thread is not a for sales thread by me. I have just spotted a Twin Turbo Supra for sale in my local paper. It says it has done 46 k genuine miles. Its silver and is a Twin Turbo Auto, with Tax and MOT £4,500 Tel: 07814 989707 Just thought it was worth posting up, hope thats okay
  22. 1.barneybrendan 2. Gav (I'll be driving down from Basingstoke) 3. Nevins & Sam (Coming from South Wales!!!!) 4. Pudsey
  23. I am sure with the weather turning around we could set up some tents or something in the garden, knew it wouldn't take long for everyone to start catching onto the angle I was coming from. If need be we could have the whole engine out and stripped in a couple hours, it isn't really a massive job if you know what your doing that is. Should be seeing some good weather soon too. Great to see your willing to take the mobile work shop Barney, great stuff. Might need to hang onto that hoist, if its okay with Stu!!!
  24. Hi there buddy, Thanks for that information, I have just checked out the site. Looks like they could well have some great deals in the future, certainly never heard of them before. I think in the future I will definately try shopping around further a field, looks like you can actually get a great deal from different parts of the country. Cheers
