Really interesting watch that, and I must say the red Supra looked great. Certainly a well worth while watch if your thinking of going single turbo. Maybe one day.

Great to see some of your opinions, costs. Paperwork came through today. They sent a load of paperwork for agreed value not that I asked for it, but say they charge £75.00. Thats Adrian Flux.
-
I see what your saying. How much are you guys paying for these agreed value policies?
-
Dear all, Just as an update on this one. Been with Adrian Flux for years, and price creeped up, especially jumping when value increased last year. I paid £410 for renewal on aerotop on 26/08, and sorted TT at same time due 03/09, was £475. I did say why so expensive, and was told prices gone up. I searched out some cheaper quotes online after this was playing on my mind. I rang back today, and advised Admiral Essential will do it for £244.83, and include NCB protection. (Loads of cheaper options not just one). As I called back with this information, renewals gone away over the phone and came back with following. TT £250.93 (removed driving other vehicles), but matched everything else. Aero £259.79. Chap apologised and said we haven't done our job properly this time and sorry about that, sometimes if you don't challenge they don't check for cheaper quotes on renewal prices. I am quite shocked, as I did trust them doing right by me if I am honest. Refund of £370.47 on its way in 3 to 5 days. Shocking. Lesson learned and will make sure I check in future that's for sure, so i hope that you do too might make big difference.

Just looked up LV Classic car insurance to see how to go about gaining a new quote. Website says after 31st March 2022, LV have decided not to offer this type of cover for classics anymore. Sounds like a shame, if they were good previously.
-
Thanks Annabella, I will certainly look into it that’s for sure. I thought there was a new law where insurance companies couldn’t charge you more than new customers etc. Just guess AF must be expensive.
-
Crickey, no I haven’t. i just assumed I was getting a fairly good deal as they used to be competitive. Fallen into the assume renewal not up, so stick with type of scenario for years. Sounds like I need to give them a call.

Hi there all, Been with Adrian Flux Insurance for years. This year renewal was up on all previous years for no good reason, nothing changed etc. £475.00 Whats people’s views on Compare The Market quotes. I fired my details in, and the cheapest was £236.00 Performance Direct. Admiral were £246.00 These were the numbers I was paying with AF until I upped the value to £30k. Does it really matter as long as your insured to drive it. Any thought? Just don’t see what extra I am getting by being a loyal customer other than being ripped off.

Congratulations to all involved. Look forward to seeing some pictures.

Super progress. Must be quiet a feeling seeing your car stripped back to that extent. Mega undertaking indeed.
-
Very very nice indeed. Definately think this is more the Supra MKIV, so in full agreement there. Looks awesome and congratulations.

Hi all, I have a pair of stock front seats for sale. In very good condition, full working order. Nice pattern to them. Pre Facelift. Collection Only. Plymouth - Devon. £300.
-
Great to see your making progress. Keep up the good work.
-
Congratulations on getting it running. Have you sprayed a bit of WD40 or something similar on the pulleys or belts. Might just be belt squeal.
-
Cricky that didn't take long. Loving the Aristo, looks nice that.
-
Great to see you saving the car, and bringing back. Super amounts of progress to date. Well done. Nb. Loving the mustangs.

Loving this car with the yellow and ccw's. Must be pretty spectacular in person judging by the super crisp photos. Are you planning on upgrading the ecu keeping it on standard twins first, have you driven a turbo parallel car set up? Either way look forward to your future plans. -

It really does look like a race car stripped back. Looking forward to the paint going on, and seeing new wheels when they arrive. -

June to November 2019. Changed my wheels again. This time went for some ADVAN Senna 2’s, 9J Front and 10J Rear, decent offset with no rubbing or arch work. Toyo Proxi T1R Tyres 235/40/18 and 275/35/18. Gold steel wheel nuts. December 2019. Reverted back to stock OEM wheels. March 2020 to March 2021. Written off due to Coronavirus, fell ill on 20th March 2020. Still not really right even now, getting over Long Covid slowly and never really been right since falling ill. One of the reasons why I was going to sell up, just couldn’t see my self getting back to being able to do anything of substance. May 2021. Today being the 30th May 2021. Mileage = 77,806 km. Carried out a Service, which was over due for me, certainly would have carried this out sooner if it wasn’t for pesky Covid getting me. None the less. OEM Air Filter, OEM Oil Filter, Sump Washer, Changed Automatic Gearbox Fluid - Sump change roughly 2 litres with OEM Type IV fluid. Knocked some of surface corrosion off the lower panel, and sprayed up for a bit of protection. Underside tidy up to commence at some point. Soarer SC400 Air Box, quiet like the little flap, super easy change. Not too bad, for a couple years sat in a box. Bloody expensive these too for the Soarer. Massive difference new vs old, I know which one I prefer. Nicely settled in his new home. Although easy access, was a pain in the ass to get off. After much longer than I had hoped the blighter was off. Took bloody ages for the oil to drain out the filter, prior to removal. Gearbox sump drop was a lot quicker, still nice cherry red. Previously done the sump filter, and long sump drain. Changing a bit at a time, rather than all at once, hopefully to avoid any gearbox issues. Runs nice and smooth in any case. Just the way we like it, golden. Yum, yum. Mileage check for records. Went out for a drive checked levels, Autobox nicely within the hot min and max, when hot. Job done. Couple of shots of the interior. My favourite photo spot and tree, in my back yard. Brings me up to date for the Bank Holiday Weekend. Been a cracking day, such a change from all the rain of the last month hey. -
Congratulations on completing the conversion and getting the legal in your country. That must have been a relief after all the effort. Great little bracket you made up, perhaps Whifbitz should supply something similar if it’s needed. Such a bummer about the windscreen, I bet your heart dropped. Fingers crossed they can rectify.

I like the sound of Golden Week, where does one sign up for one of those. Loving the rotisserie, that will make the job much easier. Dreading getting under mine to do refurb on the floor.
-
Interesting project this. I am sure we would all love to see a video, and how you think it performs/ drives. Will look out for updates, keep up the good work though. These things are never easy.
-
Great project this one, been following your progress. I contemplated the Bullet Supercharger conversion, but when measuring up found the snout would catch the bonnet. There was no way I was going to cut the bonnet, so put me right off the idea. Glad to see your persevering with it though. Keep up the good work.
