  1. You should be more concerned about the depreciation on them 3 cars [emoji38]
  2. Wish I didn’t buy it, you are one disgusting fella, then video’s [emoji6]
  3. I have just come on to say that I love Ellis... Few people on this forum have devoted as much time, dedication & not to mention huge amounts of money as Ellis. At home I have a collection of all the DB books that Ellis has created, they are absolutely brilliant, this takes time and effort to do and this man goes above and beyond. So yes please care, although the site might be updated it will be difficult to compete with social media, that is an entirely different animal.
  4. Wow they look great! Good idea, you don't want to make it worse... not like they are a cheap set of wheels!!
  5. On the plus side, the wheels are looking amazing!! We need pictures of the wheels!!
  6. Awesome, don't worry about that I'll get do the usual and tell them I am a copper and they can jog along [emoji16] See you soon mate! Look forward to seeing the 86!
  7. I am going to try and catch up on this thread later but Burna has threaten me if I don't turn up!! As a man of peaceful violence... I'll be there, so expect loads of hugs.
  8. I plan to be there! Are you guys in the usual spot?! Do you guys grab something to eat and meet afterwards as usual?
  9. Sophos, they are now allowing free downloads. The best bit is that it uses the enterprise engine... all for free. We used to get some free licenses for our corporate ones but now they have offered it for free.
  10. I have a used a few reputable garages but SRD by FAR are the best in the field. Lee & his team are just incredible. I would not recommend you taking your car anywhere else.

    Manchester attack

How fitting of you to use the word "struggle" to your view of Islam and place it in line with Nazi's... pretty much exactly how the folks at ISIS think in the same mentality. You know the first place I heard about the word Jihad being about war? In the news papers & on TV, same as people who say Muslims use the term "infidel" - again this was widely used. I did write out a decent piece about religion but thought no point in wasting my time, it's like talking to members of Britain First or EDL, they have a narrative and that is what they believe in. Your last sentence pretty much sums that up and it is the equivalent of me associating you to every killing or attack that happens and blaming you for it because the person is not religious and that somehow associates you with it.

    Manchester attack

Jihad is mentioned loads of times in the Quran, it means struggle. Yep that is exactly what it means but for some reason it has been portrayed in the western media as war. Guess it is a catchy word, good marketing. With regards to religion, the young chap who blew himself up turns out to be drinker, into drugs & local gang culture... so technically that means anyone who drinks is also responsible right? I mean you are like him? We see it all the time that when something like this happens everyone starts the whole religion debate but forgets to mention that ISIS kill ratio is 95% Muslims. Yet the news is filled with how much ISIS hate the west... just last month alone on one blast 126 Muslims were killed by ISIS, 68 of that figure was children, though still people want to push the religion card. This is how you spread hatred and I see it so much, very ill informed people making things up as they go along.
  13. This, especially the Avensis... out here in Dubai they are used as Taxi's and plenty of them have 700Km on the clock and still going strong. Some of them share the cars so one person does a 12 hour shift then passes it to his colleague and then the car goes on another 12 hours, not too bad in the winter time but during the scorching summers it would take quite a toll on the cars. I also got my Dad a diesel Avensis and although I told him it might not last that long as I got it pretty cheap and it has 140k on the clock, the thing just keeps going.
  14. UAE is amazing, plan to visit UK in July but could be here a while. Seen quite a few RS4's and they keep catching my eye!! Always loved your cars Ric, always immaculate.
  15. Looks incredible, show room worthy
  16. I recently nearly bought an Audi S4 as a daily, it was quite cheap and looked like it was in great condition. Then thought let me check them out and that is when I learned about it is an engine out job to changing the timing chain. Had a look around and I think the article below put it best, that originally Audi engineers thought it was supposed to last the life time of the car but clearly not when you had Audi serviced engines failing from the 50k mark! German engineering is not what people make it out to be, I got a VW Touareg and wished I picked up something like a Toyota Landcruiser. https://redlinespeedworx.com/audi-v8-timing-chain-service-real-story/
  17. Couldn't sleep so thought I'd hop on, think it's been nearly year since I last signed in!! I would love to! TT6 here starts around £40k for a shabby example! Such a limited supply here too but they attract far more attention than exotica. Just had a look now and one has come up 2 days ago, best example I have seen so far!! Seems to be in good condition for £42k.
  18. Friend of mine has an RS6 and an S8, in fact you might remember him from DB, Pedro!! Well it's always broken, something always needs fixing and it is VERY expensive when it goes wrong which it does often. He couldn't believe on DB the amount of power some cars were running and the fact the guys had been pushing the cars around Europe and driving back home. In his words if he did that on the RS6 by the end of it something would give way. Also I left him drive my Supra and he said that he could feel everything, even down to the road surface changing. Both his Audi's the drive was numb, speed was quick but he didn't feel the same sensation as he did in the Supra even though his RS6 was much faster.
  19. Just dream about finding a Supra in the UAE that costs less than 40K Thinking I might buy an American muscle car for the time being.
  20. Just came on to read the latest on this, loving the updates Ibz, you do some seriously inspirational work!! Love that bonnet
  21. I thought I'd never say but I enjoy living in a dictatorship state. Politics has been turned into some game show, not realising they are there to serve the people. The most worrying thought is that in a huge country full of very talented people that is the best they have come up with. That is what it has boiled down to, good luck to them as they'll need it being in a fail fail situation.

    Fuel prices

Oil prices have gone up in the UAE too, due to the low cost of fuel. The prices have slashed by nearly 70% at the barrel, yet as consumers have you seen 70% reduction at the pumps? I think I might have saw perhaps 10% at the most. So who swallows up the other 60% we are over paying? It is clearly us being shafted, those you shouldn't question these things [emoji6]
