  1. I was lucky enough to get a pair of matched memory modules off a pal who is always building the latest and greatest PC, he pities my "obsolete" stuff, but hey, it works and I do my reclaiming bit Thanks for the offers though
  2. Looking for a pair of 240 pin desktop PC 2 gig 1066 speed modules of DDR2 memory to upgrade an old PC, anyone got any they'd sell or know a trusted vendor that might have some please? Thanks.
  3. OK thanks everyone! Phenom II six core i is then, cheers.
  4. I have had a few requests on another forum so I am sacrificing doing the garden tomorrow to making a new batch, so yes, by Monday there'll be more available E-mail me at [email protected] to order, thanks.
  5. I want to use a new old stock MB as a spare PC running Win 7 64 bit, which CPU will give the best bang for the buck that I may still find new (I am a bit wary of used ones....) from this application listing please, and with 4 gig of memory what type is best, I am unsure about using two of the fastest the bumpf is not very clear to me, thanks CPU listing here: https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/M2N68AM_PLUS/HelpDesk_CPU/ Board info here: M2N68-AM PLUS | Motherboards | ASUS Global
  6. I have never had to do that, just idle and keep topping, when the `stat opens you may see some boiling, just keep topping and allow to come to full temp with cap off, then put the cap on, run again on a test drive, allow to cool and check levels again. Be sure to check the hose from the cap neck to the expansion bottle and the bottle overflow hose are totally clear of debris, too.
  7. Once topped and left to cool recheck the level, and again the next day. They can trap air a few times until they settle down.
  8. One left, found it today, thought they had all gone but was hiding in the wrong box
  9. Either the recirculation hose from rad cap area to expansion bottle was blocked or the vent hose on the expansion bottle was blocked and the pressure suddenly cleared the blockage, blowing the cap off. REMOVE both hoses and wash them through thoroughly. I suspect the hose from rad to bottle was the culprit, I have seen this before.
  10. I make and sell stainless steel pistons for all Supra calipers as well as any others if I have a pattern piston tp look at. I also do stainless steel pad locating pins for the UK type Supra calipers. I also sell seal kits that do a pair of calipers, be they fronts or rears, Jap or UK spec. Whilst I will rebuild calipers I domn't want to get into show finish powder coating, all I offer is Kephos coating in satin black. It's what F1 used on suspension parts before most were made in carbon fibre instead of steel.
  11. Stainless steel pins will stop you having to worry about grease getting on the friction surfaces. I see stainless steel pins And pistons...
  12. Propane works well so long as you don't get an interior leak when smoking or have an accident. I know for a fact some private hire cars are using it in their air-con
  13. The Denso made ones from the USA are fine and seem just like the OE ones, I have fitted a few. I agree, change the drier at the same time and all O rings. Then wait for the evaporator to go and the dash having to come out Old Sod's Law...
  14. I like it and I may be found guilty of plagiarising it....
  15. Out of interest here are the scope shots the crank sensor was at a slower trigger RPM, but the pattern is very iffy
  16. The sensors are not a huge issue, sleeves could be made to make smaller diameter ones fit the hubs, mounting holes elongated to mate with the hole in the hubs, blah blah. The REAL issue is fully water proofng them and their cabling, and routing it in durable sleeving the same way as stock to avoid damage from road debris. If it were my own car I could (and have) make other adaptors work, but the risk is if you do someone else's and a sensor fails and is blamed for an accident... DO NOT throw old none working sensors with good cabling away. I am working on an idea
  17. I tooled up a jig for testing all three and can now offer testing of cam, crank and ABS sensors and can supply oscilloscope screen shots. Cost is "10 plus VAT per sensor plus return insured P&P at £6.80 plus VAT for any UK post code. I just btested a cam and crank sensor and whilst the crank sensor would PROBABLY work it had aa poor pattern definition, I am seeing this on the actual engines quite a bit these days, so if you have them of it may be worth getting them checked out as new ones are either impossible to find or pretty costly! Be careful removing ABS sensors as they corrode into the hubs. I can test them on the car if necessary, but it'll cost quite a lot more. I can also supply analogue to digital converters for the ABS sensors for those with aftermarket ecu's that demand a square rather than a sine wave without having to adapt Hall effect wheel speed sensors.
  18. Yep, I sometimes look around and think I am running some sort of enterprise to turn expensive items into low value scrap as fast as possible
  19. Drilled discs are designed to vent gasses from the pad filler material, or in the wet, steam. they are a lot more aggressive on pad wear, as are grooved discs as they act like crude cheese graters. The drilled ones, especially cheap Chinese ones are much more prone to cracking, A true "drilled" race disc is actually CAST with the holes in the casting, but even those are often considered throw away items after a hard wet race. For 90% of road / track day use a plain or sensibly grooved disc will give far less grief than a drilled one.
  20. Hi, link is in my first post (the advert) I used the same wire colours as the Greddy so wire the same. For a VVTi the actual ECU pin outs are different and are attached. Thanks.
  21. Come come Mr. P *forged* into the head, not cast. Bolts are forged....
  22. Maybe ARP do the converter to flex plate bolts if Toyota no longer stock them? At the worst you could buy some correct grip length bolts from an engineering merchants and turn the heads thinner.
  23. All promised payments received, thank you! I will pot them up tonight and they should go out tomorrow, by DPD, cheers all.
  24. No problem, your name is on it Thanks!
  25. Naturally! Nice car! £145 plus VAT a full car set. Free inured P&P on a full set to a UK post code too
