  1. Looks nice. If any are left I'm interested in one.
  2. Thanks for the link Scott. Would do the job but costs similar to just replacing the nuts. Maybe one of those sockets has a 21mm hex cap on the top part to fit a 17mm nut. If I can't get just one small part to do the job I'll probably just get some bigger nuts and be done with it.
  3. Mine are all square one side, hex the other.
  4. I've just got a replacement breakdown wrench and they are for 21mm wheel nuts. I have new locking nuts that are also 21mm, but my current wheel nuts are 17mm. As an alternative to replacing 16 perfectly good wheel nuts, does anyone know if there is a socket adapter that a 21mm wrench fits over to drive a 17mm nut. Google didn't help. Cheers
  5. Welcome to the club. Like the front of your car very much. Facelift style front lights and the active lip. Supra looks really nice as a whole. Livingstones Warman Insurance (LWIB) quoted me well on a classic policy. Lynbrook are meant to be very good also. Currently with Adrian Flux at just below £600 a year, so give them a try.
  6. Is that price just for you, or through you for anyone else? I'm looking out for some facelift fronts.
  7. LWIB have me quoted at £495. Lynbrook couldn't quote at all. Asked for the reason and they didn't have one so I assume the engine swap is a bit too far for them.
  8. Looking to get my Supra on a classic car policy. Not going to plan at the moment. Sureterm direct's best quote is £1,580.52, Confused.com classic was one of two choices. £1826.32 or £9439.92!!! I'm 33, 13 years driving 0 NCB as I'm using 9 on my Celica commuter. Live in a good area, limited mileage of 3000 miles, garaged when not in use. Will speak with Lynbrook tomorrow. Car is slightly non standard. Different alloys, front lip, rear wing, change of paint and er... a 4.0 V8. Adrian Flux are offering £580 at the moment. Everything TPFT.
  9. One of my favourites from Rising Sun when I took these.
  10. I have a battery now. Supra was pretty much off the road without a new one. Cheers.
  11. Hi Is the dash cowling above the spedometer available? It's the long strip that houses the odometer with fixing screws. Are the rear facelift lights undamaged and available? Does it have a stock airbox? I'm after the front removable section. Can I have a price deleivered on each part to Milton Keynes please.
  12. Well done on your purchase! Upload your photos to photobucket and then link them to the forum pages. The reverse beep is normal. Both my Supra and Celica make the same noise. Mine also makes a clunk. It's not low on fluid so maybe someone else will have a better clue?
  13. Ah yeah, bit out of the way.
  14. Which direction costs you £10? I'm near Milton Keynes.
  15. Do you still have the battery? Mine seems to have died so looking for a replacement. Mine is a Bosch S5 750w, 74ah, is yours a similar spec to that and will you be at Suprapod tomorrow?

Will be at Supra Pod on the 13th. Will be good to meet you lot! Will get some video done this weekend.
  18. I will need to replace my lights, and after your success I'm thinking of getting glass lens pre facelift and doing this refurb. Top job
  19. How did the facelift style with glass lenses turn out Probox? It's a good combination I think. Do the chrome rings detach or must you mask them when painting the inside a different colour?
  20. Quite like the sound of this kit, interested to hear the price
  21. Thanks, but I already have the facelift steering wheel. I'm after the part behind the wheel that connects the horn switch to the steering column and the lead to connect it up.

    Supra V8

Got home fine thanks. Police van swooped in behind me going through Bedford town centre this evening. Thought oh no here we go.. No problem though, even though the engine shouts it's way through the streets! Hehe. Car is very stable in the wet and dry, but the fuel meter moved a lot more coming home than going to work this morning. 100 miles covered, about £30 of 95 unleaded sent to the heavens. Will have to re-consider having this as a daily driver if it costs £30 a day just to get to work and back. Keen to bring it to some meets as I have questions mounting up. Eventually I will change the colour, but not to gloss black even though it looks good on other members cars. That'll be the single biggest cost I do.
