  1. That's heart breaking mate. It doesn't look like a door ding though, unless 4x4 doors come with studs and spikes on the edges?? This company offers prevention from door dings, but who would want to stick out like that with what look like nuclear blast doors on the sides? Would probably make the car more of a target I'd have thought to random attacks other than careless door swingers. Gits..
  2. Great looking car you have there fella! Did your mate build or buy his Robo suit?
  3. I used a company to re-Chrome my facelift inserts and it's been an epic failure. We need these rings to happen. Subscribed.
  4. http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_E_1995_TOYOTA_SUPRA_JZA80R-AJFVZW_8101.html Looks like: HEADLAMP ASSY, RH - 81110‑1B210. JZA80..RHD..EUR HEADLAMP ASSY, LH - 81150‑1B210. JZA80..RHD..EUR
  5. Bit of a thread revival, was all that was done to this engine a Link G2 ECU and remap to get 315bhp? Wondered if it was head/exhaust ported or internals upgraded. Waiting on my renewal, but I got mine insured last year for about £470 fully comp, limited milagage with Livingstones
  6. Had a guy in a spotless white convertable Lamborghini Gallardo give me the thumbs up into the air as he pulled up alongside at a roundabout.
  7. There's a motorsport garage near me that does this. Wondered if anyone had done it to their Supra? This guy did it to his 94 Cavalier turbo. http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=266518&highlight=engine+clean
  8. Saw that red also and gave him a wave. Great to meet you all Caught up with you Guisy just as you turned of right towards Northampton.
  9. I'm good for Isham if everyone else is
  10. Would like to come to this if it happens. Same engine as you Andy
  11. Blimey!.. Looks very well done though, and the car looks well kept.
  12. Fair enough mate Welcome to the club. You have a pic of the car you're set on?
  13. Wanting more power before you've even picked it up. Sure you're making the right choice buying an NA?
  14. Hey fella! I've had your Tanabe Touring Medallion exhaust in my garage since the London Motor Museum meet (which I didn't go to). It's only just been fitted to a custom Y pipe into Rush headers the last week or so. Here it is fitted and running.
  15. Just a guide price I think. You could ask someone who's breaking a Toyota to have some of those bulbs out for you. Or open up your own cluster and pick your least favourite warning light to swap out
  16. That bulb and mount looks identical to the pattern select bulbs in the dashboard for an auto. Part 84999‑10750 or 84999‑10760. I got replacement bulbs from a Toyota dealer for my Celica that come with the mount so a straight swap. http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_J_1994_TOYOTA_SUPRA_JZA80-ALFQZ_8411.html
  17. Am interested in this one also. Fag ash carpet with mud stains all over. Valeters Pride is the favoured one it seems.
  18. Can't be sure. I'm told they are decat pipes, I've not seen them myself. Old bashed out cats sounds like a dog rough thing to do.
  19. rxv8 would know, he built it. I think it is 2X 2.5 decat pipes from the stock manifolds into a 2.5 Y-pipe, into what I think is a 3" mid and end pipe with a fairly small back box. Similar to the RSR style. Decided to keep the mid box. I listened to some samples of it on Scoobys and some Supras, and it sounds good still with the mid box in place. Idle is going to be quieter which suits me. I'd like to know what causes the drone because that's more the problem than the actual loudness, if you know what I mean. Imagine someone humming loudly in your ear up to about 1800rpm then it goes away and is replaced with the real V8 sounds.
  20. Mine has stock headers, with a small box on the back. Sounds quite different to yours though. The drone is inside when driving, don't really hear it from the outside.
  21. Haha Have a read at what Jurgen says to have with you when running his import plates. Boom
  22. I'm in the process of having the headers fitted along with a full Tanabe exhaust system and a custom Y pipe to connect it all up. I'm not sure if I should keep the mid box or not. The current system on the car drones like mad at 1500rpm and that is a straight through. Would it be too quiet with the mid and back boxes on though? This is a twin decat. If anyone knows what a Tanabe Medallion Touring exhaust sounds like, is it louder than stock?
  23. Those rear bench seats are pretty small. Maybe a booster seat isn't needed and a clip could be used instead to lower the belt across the shoulder? My girl is almost 4 so still in her full seat. Would be interested in what you go for.
  24. No worries mate. I managed to find some Rush headers kicking about in the UK so have those waiting to go on. May not be able to use the mid section of my Tanabe exhaust as the extractors reach back quite far though.
  25. Then I used a tax calculator.. Total customs value: £652.98 - Duty: £29.38 - VAT: £136.47 Total import duty & taxes due: £165.86 Total landed cost: £818.84 at AUD/GBP exchange rate of 0.6462
