  2. I've got one of those multiboxes also, from a Celica but still identical. There is one that sold in NZ for $242 US dollars.
  3. Why don't all car manufacturers do what Lotus have on the Elise underside? A cover..
  4. Sounds like a very thorough job Roger. It's not for my car but a colleagues and am more than certain he'd prefer having someone do it for him. Just trying to find a place local around here.
  5. On the ramps and power sprayed is the proper way I thought?
  6. Has anyone used or know of a good place in the local area to get an unsealed underside done?
  7. Brackets arrived this morning. Thank you Lee! They join the pile of nice stuff waiting to get fitted

  14. Rather than replace the tacho gauge alltogether I'd prefer either an integration below the needle which replaces the space currently used for the auto lights, or mounted into the dash plastic over near the cluster dimmer and mirror switch perhaps. Or even next to the clock. Would have to think a bit more about that one. Cheers Mike
  15. Is the display you suggested for me a slightly cutdown version of this device for gear and cruise display?
  16. Had a look around v-eight.com and lextreme but couldn't find. No doubt the info is probably buried somewhere there.. Didn't know there was such a group on FB. Requested to join, cheers.
  17. Yet to find out Scott if this manual covers my ECU. Annoying that mine is in a cross over year and most of the documentation covers the previous engine revision. If we are still stuck and can't use the 98 diagrams I'll hassle some more Lexus dealers
  18. I did try Lexus but they didn't have the diagrams in the system. Or possibly too lazy to check for the paper ones.. Ordered a 97 wiring manual from faxon also. Taking a chance if it will cover a vvti. We have the 98 diagrams and are going by them for now. The ecu is already back from nz to bypass the immobiliser.
  19. Been trying to find these diagrams with little luck. The ECU I have was in a year that the V8 recieved a revision change and most of the manuals refer to the old engine. Does anyone know where I can find these diagrams or better still have access to them? Has to be the 1997. I'm trying to find out of this manual covers the VVTi. http://www.faxonautoliterature.com/1997-Lexus-LS-400-Wiring-Diagram-Manual-Original-P18896.aspx I want to be sure before importing and am waiting on a retailer to confirm.
  20. My daughter spent 5 hours in the Recaro young sport at the weekend. 2.5 hours each way to the beach and back. There were complaints but none about the comfort of the seat, which she happened to fall asleep in on the way home. Had mine for over 3 years now and it has no wear marks at all, looks new still. Really happy with it and hopefully it will serve you well too
