  1. I've only seen this on one of Jurgen's for sale cars. Any idea what brand this front wing is, and even where to get them? http://jm-imports.co.uk/index.php/1996-toyota-supra-rz-t51r-650ps-6-speed-manual It looks like a Trial Ver2, although I'm not sure if that includes the pictured front wings in the bodykit directory. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?91216-Body-Kits-Front-Bumpers-Splitters-Front-Mods&p=2867848&viewfull=1#post2867848 Seibon is a bit different..
  2. Jesus, that's more than what i paid for my whole car with a v8 already fitted. Have you tried whifbitz? I recall they were getting unto doing conversions. You could also ask member rxv8 (Nigel) if he would be interested in fitting your motor.
  3. Dean has a 3UZ complete with a free car.. Not seen one of those motors in a Supra yet and you could waft about in slightly less comfort than the Lexus. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?305981-Lexus-GS430
  4. Your whole car looks great.
  5. I've got ABS in mine and glad to have it. If it's just for the sake of a tidy bay, have you considered these boxes that SRD do? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?287834-SRD-Engine-Bay-Boxes
  6. Nice car, I'll keep a look out for it in MK
  7. I have the Recaro Young sport in mine and I always had to shift the front seat all the way forward to give leg space. Can you put his car seat on the passenger seat instead of the rear? I got one one of these last year for my then 4 year old girl and she said it was comfortable. Slots very nicely into the back seat bucket, http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_985235_langId_-1_categoryId_165554
  8. Do you have a price for just the paddles Lee?
  9. Maybe I could stick it on backwards so the vent is at the back and have it blended. They must be having a laugh, right? £1500 for a bulge?? Love the look of that bonnet. If Rob can make some real space under the centre section I'd be very interested
  10. Not sure about the oil filter mount position. It's been a long time since I've compared them both. Mine is still being worked on. It is from a a 97 LS400 when they just brought VVTi in. The bonnet needs about 1/2 inch clearance. Hopefully as a temporary measure the height at the hinges can give enough clearance until I decide how to sort it properly. Glad you have the electrics in hand. That issue cost me lots.. If you are using the LS400 ECU, like I am, the speed signal to the dash is in CanBus, so you will have no speedo if you don't get around that. Regarding those sockets, Nodalmighty may be able to help more than me.
  11. Can anyone recommend someone/company that does bonnet fabrication work? I need to raise up the center section of the bonnet. Similar to how the Do-Luck one looks would be good.
  12. I think the Soarer only had a non-VVTi V8 so yes, a non VVTi will go on. This was done to mine by the guy that built my car a few years ago. Swapped the sump out to a Soarer one. This is the same for the non-VVTi 1UZ if it came from an older LS400. From Lextreme 1UZ Q&A info: "The oil filter mount on a rear sump engine fouls the sway bar on a Supra; the Crown remote type rear oil filter assembly fits but makes oil filter access a little difficult (depending on fuel line location). I ended up getting a custom sway bar made that cleared the factory oil filter mount. Many conversions will still require the steel sump bowl to be modified to a minor extent to clear things that want to occupy the same space. Usual story – trial fit it and chop off anything in the way!" Mine is currently fitted and being connected up. By the end of the month it should be wired up and ready. I sent my ECU to New Zealand to have it security bypassed. Cost a fair bit, but apparently this George guy on Lextreme has recently done his own bypass and is a lot cheaper. Was you planning on doing the security bypass yourself?
  13. Oh yeah. The Supra bonnet doesn't clear the VVTi intake on the engine..
  14. This guy "George R" in Moscow is offering to bypass the security for quite a bit less than Cartune.nz. http://www.lextreme.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16344 I'm not technical enough to help you myself with the details, but you could ask Nodalmighty (Lyndon) about your problem with the gearbox. He's helping me in big way right now. I'm pretty sure the stock ECU won't like not finding the A650 attached but the motor will run. There might be some useful info here you could use: http://www.lextreme.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15689 Also, you might need to change the LS400 sump over to a Soarer one. The LS400 one doesn't fit well with the Supra.
  15. Are you going with an aftermarket ECU? The VVTi ecu needs a security bypass to work. Where is your motor from? LS400? Have a trawl here if you are missing anything: http://oldschool.co.nz/2011/forum/index.php?/topic/30736-how-to-wire-up-a-1uz-engine-vvti-and-non-vvti Very interested in your project
  16. It's for functional reasons that I'm going to need to make a change. Either modify my Jspec or find a bonnet like this. Looks like Do Luck bonnets are rare and don't fit first time. - - - Updated - - - You did it to a Charge Speed didn't you David? I looked at your thread last night.
  17. Oh no, fire away guys. I was more into the fact that the Do Luck bonnet has a bulge at the back than the headlight eyelids. No matter though
  18. Nice. I thought it was custom at first. You have any photos of your bonnet progress Kaan?
  19. Does the Do-Luck bonnet have that bulge towards the windscreen in it's design?
  20. I'm going to have to make some modifications to my bonnet and looking for some style ideas. Found this image of the kind of thing I'm thinking of. On a side note, what do you think of the headlight overlap that's been done? It's a Photoshop apparently. http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?629251-Does-anyone-on-SF-know-where-they-make-this-hood-in-the-OEM-version-or-is-Custom
