  1. DavidP working on replacing my gaskets on a non tiptronic auto which are crispy brittle when old, and easily destroyed by being clumsy..
  2. I checked for a 1999 Aristo JZS160, it appears it doesn't have two paper gaskets like the Supra non tiptronic auto valve bodies do. Instead there appears to be a single plate. PLATE SUB-ASSY, VALVE BODY: 35406-30180 I also checked the Aristo JZS161 and found that has a different part number: 35406-30230 (same part as Supra tiptronic)
  3. Are they Lexus TTE wheels in factory black? It's hard enough finding silver centre caps amongst all the hen's teeth.. That 275 tyre looks very chunky.
  4. It is a cool ride. Look forward to seeing it shortly
  5. Hi mate. The 18th clashes with another commitment I have so won't be able to make this now.
  6. I'll use very thick pencil on the calendar for that date
  7. Headlights look so much better, can see the chrome rings again! Great job with the lenses Gets trickier when the internal inserts start to go bad.. Ah, I didn't know https would make a difference and it certainly does.
  8. There is an "insert video" button when making a post in the toolbar along the top of the typing area at the end of the list for both "Quick Reply" and "Go Advanced". Then paste your YouTube link into that.
  9. This problem has been found and fixed for a while now and I just remembered to update this thread in case anyone else comes across a similar thing. The vacuum hose routing was not correct. It going from the crankcase to the PCV, then PCV back to the intake manifold. What it should be and is now doing. Venting at the crankcase, vacuum hose from PCV to intake manifold as before, PCV to the intake pipe. No more squealing like a pig when turning with any resistance
  10. Stunning work Matt. All those little brackets get forgotten about usually, and quietly rot away. I found a spare front number plate holder I'd forgotten about whilst tidying up at the weekend. So plan to use the same Eastwood product you've used to restore it since yours came out so well!
  11. This one looks like it has the auto tail ends. Is advertised as manual though. https://chrracingradiator.com/products/2-rows-aluminum-radiator-for-toyota-supra-jza80-turbo-manual-1?variant=34538605084826&utm_medium=cpc&utm_source=google&utm_campaign=Google%20Shopping&gclid=CjwKCAjwnK36BRBVEiwAsMT8WOQHHG5ec1-ZOyLcJEfw3qLh4kixKTruwQQyUd17G4T4swWkbRF8IxoCbHsQAvD_BwE
  12. I have an alloy auto rad in mine which I bought 3 years ago. Used the same eBay search to find another but nothing appeared. Not seen one in the uk, but an Australian one popped up. https://www.ebay.com/c/2171236047 It’s a little more hassle but you could use any alloy Supra manual radiator with an additional oil cooler attached to the front: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/163058646071
  13. I was thinking Aston Martin Vulcan, but then Batman's Tumbler came to mind
  14. What a nightmare. Can knock your faith in garages with that kind of carry on.
  15. I had this today also. Returning the car home from a check-up and heard some teenagers call it out whilst passing by. That a Supra!! Hehe. Doesn’t bother me, nice for it to be noticed. Just like yours Jamine, mine sounds like it’s firing on two more cylinders too
  16. Hi Antno If you still have this I’ll have it off you. Cheers Mike
  17. The rust is also likely to be behind where the glass sits so the glass would ideally need to come out. I'd entrust that one to a pro myself as it's a hefty glass panel and you really don't want to risk breaking it. Yeah, rub down until it's all gone then paint over to protect it. Nice one with the video btw. Keep them coming
  18. You have a good spec Supra there. Interior looks especially tidy. Before you wrap it, you might want to see about addressing the tailgate rust in the usual spot below the window. Best of luck with the project
  19. Supra looks fantastic! Great colour and kit. You must be really pleased to finally have it out and about
  20. I think I’d have to a serious talk with myself if I’d prefer trailering a car rather than driving it. Already don’t drive it enough! Very nice and unique rear wing.
  21. 3 out of the 4 parts Supra-love listed above are available on https://www.megazip.net/
