  1. Firstly, many thanks to Lyndon (Nodalmighty) for programming the back end Arduino board, building a nice compact box and loom, wiring it into the gearbox ECU and no doubt all investigative work that went into it beforehand. This is a side project that has been in the making for sometime. As my Supra has a DavidP hybrid auto box, flappy paddles and a standalone SupraStick ECU it has several features that are not relayed to the driver. The purpose of the OLED display is to show what gear I am in when using the paddles, Auto or Manual mode, Auto map 1 or 2, and the gear shifter physical positions. It also has a battery info display. There are still a few gremlins to smoke out but it largely does exactly as I wished and I'm very happy with it. Thanks again Lyndon! 2. Just make a UFO calender full of your car Looking great mate!
  3. Oled screen graphics are my 5th design as some features were changed, added or dropped. The screen needs to be fairly clutter free also, so it can be glanced at whilst driving and understood easily. Lyndon sourced the kit, put everything together and programmed the code to make it work, this weekend it should all get fitted. The El panels are my 2nd attempt and I got it right this time so doesn't flicker like before. Doesn't tolerate dimmers or rips in the El panels.
  4. Here's my one that I cut to shape for mine using EL panels. You can have a closer look at it when I drop by on Sunday. [video=youtube;iR-pARN3tLw]
  5. That's the first time I've seen that! How on earth have I missed it??.. Looking forward to having it fitted on Sunday
  6. Me too Have the CTEK also so the ECU doesn't have to relearn every time the car is garaged for long periods. I have the little plug that comes with it permanently wired under the bonnet. To charge the battery is as simple as plugging a USB stick in with that there. Excellent bit of kit.
  7. Tomorrow the engine is going in for a BG induction clean to hopefully blast out any restrictive coke in the combustion chamber. Similar to Terraclean but I've read this is more effective. Am also having the oil control valve filters replaced in case they are restritive to the function of the VVT system. Something or things were robbing power on the dyno day and plenty has changed since. It drives pretty nicely at the moment and can knock your head back on acceleration, just doesn't keep it there
  8. OEM rear wing - £30 ono No fixing bolts, just the wing. Paint isn't great so likely needs a respray. Can deliver by courier but prefer collection/meet halfway. It's in Milton Keynes. Cheers Mike

  10. Used this guy for several engine parts. Smashing chap, and great work. Did some PS reservoirs and cam covers of mine. Based in Whitney, Oxfordshire. http://www.pro-polishers.co.uk
  11. Andrew had two modules I recall. One was a full loom box for cars that have never had an active spoiler so no ECU, plugs or wiring (like mine). The other piggy backed the active spoiler ECU I think so maybe it did retain the speed activation, but could be overridden? You've done a great job making a standalone that does it all. Excellent work mate! Hope you have made some space in your PM box
  12. Yes I do but the result was much less than what was expected at 256bhp on a dyno day. The fuel pressure regulator was set too high at the time so my AFR was off, and the intake has since been re-designed as the previous one had a restriction. Several other things have since been changed and all the ECU errors are now clear. It should be around the 300bhp, 300 lb-ft mark. Was a see-where-we-are event for the car. First run was promising at 320hp but was void due to a miscalculation of some sort.
  13. They are Grams OE/Nur style. 20mm wider on each front, 25mm wider each side rear. Thank mate. It's the active front that I bought and collected from you Although I'm using a carbon blade. I have one of AndrewOW's full loom override modules that I bought and stored for years until myself and DavidP got around to fitting it all this year. Plan is to get those rear arches sorted out and blended in, custom made Work wheels made up to fit the arches, paint is almost certainly going to be a modern Renault red. Thanks mate. Your car inspired me on the brake choice! Thanks mate I had to replace the driver rear as it was too far gone. They will all get changed when the new wheels are ready. Cheers mate Yes mate, they are temporary until the new wheels are ready. You guys have a dectectives eye! Haha.
  14. Thanks mate Not too much left to do but still needs lots of money to finish it.
  15. When I first bought my car it already had a Soarer V8 and matt paint. It wasn't my original intention to change the engine but I did, and it's now the VVTi version. It is my intention however to get a full respray and nicer alloys, hopefully in 2017! Which gave me the idea of taking the car back to the spot I first photographed it shortly after buying it from RXV8 on here. Wasn't blessed with the same light as before but made do!
  16. These are the part numbers (relevant to any model of Supra) which may help for anyone searching: SENSOR, SPEED, REAR LH 89546-14010 SENSOR, SPEED, REAR RH 89545-14010 SENSOR, SPEED, FRONT LH 89543-14020 SENSOR, SPEED, FRONT RH 89542-14020 Put the part number into Google search (or whatever) and you may get lucky eg - http://www.overstockoemparts.com/oe-toyota/8954514010
  17. Lovely jubbly Let me know when you're ready for me to send some facelift lights over to you.
