  1. Fantastic work! Supra is looking stunning, especially on those wheels
  2. I kept spotting red Renaults like some crazed trainspotter Got to drive it yesterday in the sunshine for once. Really loving the new look and with the engine noise it reminded me why I am so attentive to this car! Currently back at the same bodyshop fixing a mystery paint chip on the upper edge of the rear quarter panel beside the tailgate. The location makes it not possible for a chipsaway special.
  3. I had optional extras so that pumped the bill up. It would've been what you've already been quoted more or less otherwise.
  4. £634 for the 650 MKII, tilt sensor, glass breackage sensor, and removal of the old alarm.
  5. Yep, installation certificate to go with it for the insurers to sleep easy
  6. I used this guy Dave Knight at http://www.dkcas.co.uk/ to fit a Clifford Concept 650 with a few extra features. Removed the one that was in there and fitted the new on my drive as he is a mobile unit. Great to speak with, quick on emails, and did the job well and promptly.
  7. If you go 18" or 19" the rolling diameter will be much the same regarding filling the arches, unless you don't mind your spedometer being 10% or so out. My wheels have that concave design also and I went 18" for ride quality and traction. Very good site to calculate what wheel and tyre combo will keep your spedometer accuarate: http://www.willtheyfit.com/ This is the standard Supra wheel and trye setup. Front - Alloy 17 x 8j +50, Tyre 235 45 R17 Rear - Alloy 17 x 9.5j +50, Tyre 255 40 R17 Here's a tyre guide for what width is ideally suitable: https://www.tyres-pneus-online.co.uk/tyre-equivalence-advice.html Here's another thread where rolled arches and maximum offsets were discussed: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?267184-Maximum-offsets-on-rolled-arches
  8. Plasti dip might be better than wrap if you want a new look sooner. I had some wrap on mine when I bought it and am very glad to see the back of it. Pealing at edges, warping, stuck like terd to a blanket everywhere else when removing. Looks like retro fitted LED bulbs are also not allowed either if the headlights in question do not self level: "Vehicles equipped with High Intensity Discharge (HID) or LED dipped beam headlamps may be fitted with a suspension or headlamp self-levelling system. Where such systems are fitted, they must work; however, it is accepted that it may not be possible to readily determine the functioning of self-levelling systems. In such cases, the benefit of the doubt must be given."
  9. I have a spare motor for the active spoiler. Do you need the frame pieces also? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?340788-Apexi-air-filters-battery-clamp-bell-housings-torque-convertor-and-more
  10. I have Nur "style" arches front and back. Pics in my garage.
  11. Is there a minimum number of cars we need to reach for the parade to happen? Something like double the amount we have at the moment or are we just a few short?

  16. Ok Those are my inserts in the pic I uploaded as they came out from behind the lenses for the first time. I had Halfords make up 1A1 and it's identical. Can't say I've inspected anyone elses headlights, so I'm just going by what I've seen on my own lights and read somewhere (which for the life of me I can't find the old database). Maybe someone at Toyota made a batch of MSB headlight inserts for a laugh one day? I investigated it off the back of someone else's thread sometime ago and that's what I found. There might be variations in different headlights. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?224624-Facelift-or-uk-headlights&p=3281925&viewfull=1#post3281925

  18. There was one in the sale thread at the time. Guess I can add to the balls up that I could've borrowed one
  19. Sold my OE rear bumper for a reasonable price. Then being at a loss after postage costs and the delivery company charging me for under specifying the dimensions. Then having to buy another OE rear bumper for more than I sold mine just so I could drive the car to my body shop whilst my Trial bumper was being refurbished..
