  1. I had the Mikalor clips on mine for a while but found they would let fluid weeps through. I figured the wideness of them wasn’t focusing the pressure down enough to form a faultless seal. I stuck with some nicer looking stainless jubilee clips that don’t have lots of gaps cut into them.
  2. They are part 90129-08001. I replaced mine where needed but didn’t measure them so don’t have the data you need..

No denying a lot of work went into that! Sadly, I’m not going to invest. I’m out.
  4. He was having to spend a lot of time in hospital for treatment the last time I knew (about 6 months ago). I have an email address I can pm to you.
  5. Mine doesn’t have a turbo or a 2jz! I’ve been waiting for the ‘not a real Supra’ beating when at shows but so far it hasn’t happened. Haha. I’m very glad the forum is going to get a boost. It’s got to work well from a phone though. As much as I prefer sitting at a pc and seeing the forum as it should be, the internet has moved to handheld devices for almost everything. Uploading photos here in comparison to social apps or even online image hosts has become a laborious outdated task. There is a feature I’ve seen on other forums for computing sites that I frequent for work related tech, and that is a [solved] flag that is present on the forum and google search result. If a question was asked and a solution found it can be marked as such. I’m not sure exactly how it works, maybe upvotes from others or confirmation of the solution by the OP. It would work here nicely if a technical question was answered accurately or part numbers supplied etc. Thats my 0.00001 of a bitcoin
  6. One of the first things I changed when I bought mine. Well done getting the stops on, shame the old screws wouldn’t budge.
  7. They have blue thread lock on for added harassment. I used a dremel circular blade to cut a new slot into the screw head. Could then get a straight screwdriver on it and enough force to free it. Might not be the best way, but it is a way and it worked for me.
  8. Mine is a 93, povety spec import originally and it has front and rear anti roll bars. There are those and a centre brace in the tunnel which all give rigidity and help against excessive body roll. Probably does need them as the front and rear drop links are meant to connect to each end of each bar.
  9. Have you asked Keron if he has any compressors in stock? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/member.php?676-keron
  10. I saw that the eBay ad was using a 447200-9813 part number that is repeated in several places and saying they would fit a Supra. Different to the one I read in ToyoDiy.com. Quite misleading, sorry about that.
  11. These are the part numbers for the 2JZ A/C parts. The parts are scattered all over the place now, I checked Amayama.com and they only have the driers. I fitted an imported radiator from the US with the same description as below and it fitted as it should. Rider had a thread going for complete AC kits some time ago, pressume they all gone though. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?341099-A-C-Condenser-kits-gauging-interest 88460-14310 CONDENSER ASSY, COOLER (the radiator) https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/362463388685?ul_noapp=true 88471-34010 TANK, RECEIVER AIR CONDITIONER (the drier bottle) https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Air-Con-Dryer-for-TOYOTA-SUPRA-A8-3-0-93-02-2JZ-GE-Petrol-Coupe-228-Behr/401678305681?fits=Model%3ASupra&hash=item5d85e48991:g:bQQAAOSwgnJcLPHx 88320-14600 COMPRESSOR ASSY, COOLER (the pump) https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Toyota-Supra-Aristo-Lexus-GS300-IS300-2JZ-A-C-Aircon-compressor-Pump-447200-9813/113812304582?hash=item1a7fbdf2c6:g:Cu0AAOSwwAldJIqe
  12. Marked the crank pulley with a line and it hasn’t shifted at all. I have a new crank pulley in reserve if needed.
  13. The scope has been on everything including the pump as that was the prime suspect listening for where the source of the noise could be. The power steering fluid is still good with no contamination, I'll try full locking it whilst the wheels are off the ground to see if it still does it. Strange how the squeal comes on only when the engine has warmed up some and not from cold. I'd hope it is something simple like a pulley bearing.
  14. I've had several people look at this and a garge had the car for 3 days and couldn't figure out what the noise is or where it's coming from. It happens when the engine has warmed up some and the steering wheel is turned enough for the power steering to engage, most noticable when parking or stationary and turning the wheel slightly. A scope has been on every pulley, the belt has been changed 3 times, idle pulley replaced, tensioner adjusted. The vacuum hoses have been replaced and are all clear, the PCV valve on the power steering pump has been changed for new, power steering fluid flushed and replaced. It seems to be coming from behind the driverside cam cover when listening, but the scope says no. I wondered if anyone has come accross something like this before and has an idea what next to look into. I've been advised to run the car as normal and see what changes if at all. I changed the engine and transmission oil prior to noticing this sound happening. Doesn't affect the function of anything, no codes from the OBDII scanner. Engine is a Lexus 1UZ VVTi.
  15. The Facebook sites were good for in-the-moment chatter, buying and selling. I managed to find some great bits and pieces, and sold a fair amount there too. I'd always advertise parts here first though. Trying to find an old discussion was a pain in the ass, it's something this forum is much better for when looking for info already covered. Maybe that's why it's a bit quieter because almost everything has already been covered and a new thread isn't needed? I refer to Facebook in the past as I've been banned from there by 8rembo's internet police squad who assumed I was selling fake brakes. No appeal process or a mechanism to sort it out. Bang, and your off.
  16. I recently sold an RSR to Sheefa who then sold it to Shawn. Maybe let Shawn know you are interested in the RSR incase he desides to go for something different? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?353279-RSR-Stainless-Steel-Exhaust-including-Bung-VGC
  17. Gareth has got a track record now for something happening when leaving Japfest! Last time he almost rear ended waiting cars leaving when encouraged to do a burn out. Section 59: Vehicles used in manner causing alarm, distress or annoyance. Oops. I'll be at JPS also, see you there
  18. Great to meet you all yesterday! Thanks Crossy for organising us all I stuck around until about 3pm taking more pics. Does anyone know who has number plate "K700 WHP" I think it was? Left just before I did and saw it blocked in on a side road by a police van out on the road. Maybe did a burnout exit and got caught?
  19. I only have L2 and a unique number on my ticket. Am hoping to be guided to the right place on arrival. Not organised meeting anywhere beforehand. I’ll be leaving Milton Keynes around 6:30.
  20. Recieved my ticket a few days ago. Car 2 of 6, should just say we are on the Auto Nation stand and be herded over to them I guess.
  21. I just checked 81151-1B231 (LH) and 81111-1B231 (RH) and they are £662 each from Amayama Japan without the shipping or the huge tax to pay when they arrive. If you can get them new for £360 each that is a bargain these days.
  22. I had a look through the manual for you and found what I think are your connector part numbers. They don't come with pins from Toyota so best to de-pin what you have as they charge near £6 per terminal! Oil level sensor connector: 90980-10532 Ignition coil on a GE should be: 90980-11246 Your ignition coil connector in the picture looks like 90980-10843 which doesn't appear to be associated to either TT or NA? I added images so you can see the working out.
  23. Hi Herb I have the same design undertray and found it doesn't fit into position without the front two corners being cut away to clear bumper undertray and two openings at the rear being made for the front suspension member protector. All the screw holes match where they should. Your buyer should be aware of this until Gary updates the design or you make your own modifications.
