Trans is in great shape, making no noises, just synchro on 3rd might need to be replaced soon. Place where tripod bolts up at some point was welded, but doesn't affect the transmission or shifter. It's not M power gearbox. It's from E60, E61, E90 3.0 diesel engine.

Hehehe I think I know what you are after Chris Middle section of the adapter is only there for testing is crank shaft inline with input shaft of the gearbox. Can be cut off now as all is spot on.

As soon as I'll have all parts ready to go in I can then add all up and let you know. Mattsson Supra was dynoed 962 at the hubs and 1052 hp at the engine

Hi all. I'm doing the conversion for 6 speed manual using BMW gearbox (GS6 53DZ - same as Mattsson on his build). Just wanted to share with you how I'm doing. Here is the adaptor plate: All CNCed with 0.1mm precision Now waiting for flywheel to be made. Conversion will be using twin plate clutch from BMW M Power. More info to come

Place nut on the top of the broken bolt and weld it inside. Take the spanner and undo the nut with bolt. Job done!

Quick Question 1JZ-GTE gearbox bolt pattern??

If the bell housing is coming from Supra MKIII with 1JZ engine then it's fine. You need to know that most R154 are coming from 7M GTE which is nowhere near the JZ fitment. I'm not sure about the clutch, if you are lucky you may use just different clutch plate and be fine but don't quote me on this... -

1JZ and 2JZ has the same engine to gearbox pattern. This is why you can put w58 from 2JZ-GE to 1JZ-GTE -
ZF GS6-53DZ 6spd from E60 525/530D biimer is the one which mattsson has in his Supra. 530D has 530nM so the gearbox shoud be strong

Both looks the same so should fit stock fuel rail.

I'm finishing the GS6-53DZ swap on my 1.5jz. As soon as fully tested I will make a plug & play kit for sale. Bare with me on this one
