Yeah I only went for the one decat. £300 was a very good price but half way through the installation the owner said to me that the price he had quoted me was for a 2 and 1/4 inch system not a 3 inch. i pointed out that unfortunatly I had requested a 3 inch and that seeing as it was half built and my old exhaust was now probably in a bin somewhere I wasn't happy to now have to pay more. He was fantastic and agreed it was their error and my lucky day and they fit the system which he informed me should have been £480 So Happy Days for me as usually I end up losing money not saving it !

I will defo try and sort one soon . Sounds real nice and the guys at MIJ were fantastic ! They were saying that they are relaunching there remapping service soon and are going to be doing it at a special price of £200 ! Has anyone had there supras remapped and what sort of performance increase did they get ?

Well everyone today was the day ! I was up at 5.30am and travelled all the way from cumbria down to berkshire to purchase a silver uk spec TT which is a completely standard model and in very nice condition! However as the pics show I had already booked a little visit to MIJ Performance in walsall on the way back up the country and literally 2 hours after owning the car it was up on their ramps having a 3" bore decat system fitted with a 4" burnt tip tail pipe. After waiting around for about 4 hours I was then on my way again to finish off my journey back to cumbria. It has been a top day and I am really pleased with the car, the new sound which is very impressive and with my very first day as a supra owner ! Now all I need is my 18's on it which will hopefully be sorted by the end of the week or early next week Pictures of the car are outside the place I bought it and then at MIJ . Due to it being dark by the time they finsihed it I have not taken any pics of new exhaust system yet but will add shortly.

both these sets are different sizes front and back but the seller states in the auction description next to where it says supra (caution big brakes) so that why i am concerned Which traders on here are best to speak to then to get what i need ?

That looks real nice actually , I had kinda been swayed with the other ones but now i am not sure !

I've already heard about the big brake thing so i have been asking suppliers that question to make sure and most say they can do a fitting kit if need be so that they fit on , don;t know how this effects the look of them though ! Whats the need for requiring a boost controller to up the boost on a uk car though !!! Will be defo doing the mods asap though as although i appreciate 'dad' mode I am a very careful driver and am not going to be thrashing about in it like a nutter (my job kinda requires me to have a licence..lol) . I want the subtle mods doing just so that it looks the part mainly. Thanks for the advice though ! Rob

Well i was looking at upto about £900 with tyres but i have seen a couple of nice sets of 18's with tyres for around £600 - £700 so ... I am after a multispoke type looking wheel with a dish on and wider rears !

LOL 20's are defo out and i am thinking 19's are now to. Am scouring ebay as we speak looking for a nice set of 18's that i can hit buy it now on !!!!

I will definatly be driving the car not just parking up in it to look at so i am ruling the 20's out definatley. 18's or 19's hhmmmmmm !!!! decisions decisions Maybe 18's and slightly lowered !!!! will make a decision soon cause i want the wheels ordered and fitted by end of next week . Hi everyone, Quick question, I have just purchased a uk spec supra TT and am looking at a new set of wheels. thanks everyone , well i am picking the car up monday lunchtime now . Its gonna be a 6 hour drive to get there and then on way back up the country i have got the car booked in at an exhaust centre at 3pm to have its new system fitted. So will have only owned it 2-3 hours before its first mod (not bad eh). Now i just need to find some nice wheels!!!

Thanks for the welcome, I don't want anything offensively loud but would like a nice sporty tone but am more keen on the performance that can be gained and how best to go about that. as for the exit no real preference i suppose so would but open to suggestion on that one but i would like the pipe to have that burnt tip look. I don't actually get to pick the car up yet, its going to be safely with me on monday so i will get all the pics taken of it then. My aim is to have exhaust, wheels and indicators changed on it by next friday !!!!!!!!!!!!!! so I need to to source best place and best prices for the bits i need. Obviously ebay is getting scoured but if anyone has any other good suggestions on where to look or go to then it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi everyone, Well i have just purchased my first ever supra TT auto. Its a 1996 uk spec in silver and completely standard. I am looking for some advice on best place to get an exhaust for it and what to go for , price etc and also after a nice set of wheels , either 18's or 19's. Also a clear indicator kit. Can't wait to get it looking how i want. Will post pics as soon as i sort them too !!!
