  1. I had this in my Supra last month, found the water pump was leaking quite bad, and the coolant had emptied itsself so much that when i looked there was no sign of coolant in the radiator or expansion tank. I think no hot air is an early sign of coolant loss, but the car will overheat within 20 seconds of no hot air blowing. Thats what i found anyway.
  2. I also hate people who put fog lights on when there is no fog! But the fine is only £30 isnt it?
  3. I always thought it was some sort of child lock, but the amount of people to try to get out of my car with it locked, and nearly pull the handle off trying to get out is starting to annoy me, incase one day the handle snaps. Im going to look at it from the behind and see if there is a plastic link i can put in place so when you pull the handle, it latches onto the lock part and opens the door straight away, like the drivers side.
  4. I have owned my N/A for about 8 months now and got it when i was 20 and I paid £2100insurance. Now im 21 i thought my insurance might of gone down quite a bit so i tried quotes for both my N/A renewal, and a TT. The N/A renewal in Aug 2010 with 4 years NCB will be £1579 The TT will be £6K !!!! I think ill have to stick with the N/A for a while lol.
  5. I think theres a screw in there to adjust the height isnt there, im sure ive noticed a screw for each lamp unit when ive been looking around the back of the cluster. What colour temp have you gone for for the fogs and dipped?
  6. I like the idea of a Carbing Tower Bar with Built in BMC brace. Just got to save up and find one.
  7. Anybody ever experienced this long wheezy/grinding noise when the ignition is turned on?

Still watching for the letter... 4 years later
  9. Well im pretty sure i left the glass in when i fitted my seal... hmm...yes...i did leave the glass in lol.
  10. Fixed the leak today All dry now at last.
  11. Id like to get a TRD wheel to match my TRD knob, but id only really pay £80 max for fake.
  12. I did it with a hammer head (no i didnt 'hammer' it in, i just used the heavy, large surface area to push it in).
  13. I did no damage to my car with the hammer lol. Im sure you'll find a way of doing it.
  14. Oh and by the way, My boot STILL leaks Very annoying!
  15. I have done it. It was hard, but only took a few hours. I got the head of a large hammer, and pushed it in with that. once you get it started its easy. I didnt use any lubricants or anything, so it can be done. Go out there are give it some beans!!! lol
  16. OOOH thats what the little brassy colour pipe is coming from the bottom of my new water pump is then is it? There wasnt one on the old pump. I didnt get any black hose though.
  17. My water pump was leaking last week, got a new one now and all sorted. I spotted the leak by seeing steam coming from the alternator, obviously the hot coolant was touching the alternator and creating steam.
  18. Decided to put them back in the Supra! Kind of stealth with a black bed sheet over them, god ive missed bass!! I think it looks kind of neat too... They are sat on the rear seats folding down part, and are facing the rear of the car. I have put the sheet over the top of the enclosure, and then cable tied it to the back of the boot blind, so people cant see the subs at all, which is what i wanted. Hope you like. Easy access from the drivers seat to the amp controls: The built-in Amp: The black bed sheet lol: Still got the full use of the boot and boot tools etc: Stealthy:
  19. I like the Veilside seats... lol
  20. What does the single DIN filler look like please.
  21. Anybody please, before i turn to Toyota.

  23. Incase Ric cant find the fan, does anybody know if any other models of Toyota have the same fan... there are no Supra ones on eBay, but there might be other Toyota ones.
